Protesters in Istanbul has been against to government, demonstrations were to keep historical texture of Istanbul, Taksim square, includes bronze statue figured Ataturk who had been founder Republic of Turkey and Turkish war of independence. Commemoration to modern formation of Turkey in 1923. The monument and Ataturk Cultural Center means a lot to Turkish people,
If Ataturk hadn't done the reforms, Turkey wouldn't be a modern country,
We owe the revolutions -everything- to Ataturk, appreciate him.

Turkey has a strategic position geographically that's why it has been home to many civilization for ages, we have different cultures,
You'd heard of Ottoman Empire lived for 623 years, before the establishment of The Republic of Turkey by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Ottoman Empire dissolved during world wars and finally lost its power.
Major Detail (about); Ottoman was at center between Eastern and Western,
also modern Turkey (foundation1923) located at the same land and again making cultural interaction between East and West, that's why its location is highly significant, so having an important role acts as a role modal in the Middle East.
