Blog challenge : May/might/could+have+...He came to say something to me , but I refused to listen .What might he have said? What could have happened If I had listened? .He might have told me about that stolen bag . No, no..he may have tricked me as usual.
Onee-chan, thank you for leaving your comment . I have already written this blog on my notebook and the corrected form of it. I rarely edit my blogs here don't know the reason why.
Hi Amal, sorry to say.. .. It is great to have our mod and even admin corrected your writing. But, I wonder why you didn't make any editing, if your aim is learning.
Yes, 'could have' can be used in conditionals(Third Conditional), for example, 'If Amal had had more time, she could have written a longer blog.'
Don't confuse the two different uses for 'could have', however.
Now, let's try to reword this sentence: 'What could have happened If I listened?' Tip: You could have used the past perfect in the conditional clause. You can say 'What could have happened If I had listened to him?'

Anyway, have a good day! :)
Now see this : If Expector smith had not corrected my mistakes, I could not have improved .
Hi Josef,
I enjoyed reading your version:)
Thank you for making time to leave a comment here - I really appreciate it.
He came to say something to me, but I refused to listen.
What might he have said?
He might have said that he was sorry.
He might have apologized for tricking you before.
He could have been really worried about it - maybe :)
Well done!
