Hi,
Yesterday, I read & watched Steve Jobs's speeches with a huge admiration.
(one more time watched it since my last review last year )
He was asking " What is truly important ? "
it made an impression on me and of course his story touched me like other people.
This speech, was looking for some answers, had been made one year ago after a cancer diagnosis.
Actually, this very emotional speech gave me a good lesson. Everytime I believe that there should be a balance between heart and mind so this lesson helped me to understand its necessity (balancing). But, there will be some moments you will choose to follow "your heart" because the most important thing you have is your soul.
Steve Jobs asked himself "What is truly important" every morning for the past 33 years,
and said that the best way, to avoid the trap of thinking you have somehing to lose, ...to remember you are going to die...
Let's think about it,
1Q - If today were the last day of my life ?! What would you wanna do ?
1A - I would like to be with my family.
2Q- What would you want to do with your life
2A- Travelling ! Seeing different culture & people finally, I would do one more thing is that; Organ Donation.
So far it seems like very ordinary article, but if it was said by a man who was Steve Jobs with his big believed dreams, achieved a phenomenal succeses, much deeper topic waits you !
Conclusion ; on the one hand "a succes story" on the other hand "searching for truth " according to me what Paradox between the real and the ideal. It is open to interpretation.
I want to finish my writing with a quote of Mahatma Gandhi
LIVE..... as if you were to die tomorrow,
LEARN..... as if you were to live forever,
Happy Learning,
Selma,

Hi Lynne,
Thank you for your excellent comment :) Really challenging. You brought a different approach but I totally agree with all of them. We can learn a lot from these brilliant people what they do or don't.
Also, this paragraph saying " only way to be satisfied = only way to do great work = love what you do" has been already a key point for me,
Thank you for your great contribution,
Selma
