Sorry, I do not understand your first sentence .

But the second” What if you found out that your lover or your brother is a gay”

I reckon my answer will be a strange for . in my place , men try to make their reputations without blemishes .We consider this kind of vice is a very shameful. No one have a dare to declare publicly that he is a gay .If he does he will be avoided by good people and may be caste into prison by police . I know that the (human) self is inclined to evil ,but I have strong belief that man can correct his behavior towards good .
