Hallo all ,I'm a new member and I would like to share in this great website . As we know that we are from different counties and different culture .It could be sometimes different cultures in one country for instance , there are some festivities just in the city where I'm living in Holland and that unusual for me.I presume that we would like to know more about each other , so I would like you to tell us about your own culture and the things which may be other people finding them strange .Thank you ,Thunder
First of all thank you for your comment . In fact , I would like to visit Mexico but unfortunately not anymore >>> hhhhh I am just joking
once again thank you , THUNDER
However , I'm still wondering if all these rules are satisfying you as a moslem woman and could I know like what rules are not obeyed . I'm really interested in knowing more about Iran .
some information about my culture :
I'm moslem like you . I'm from K.S.A but I live in Holland because of my study. I've been studying for twe years in Holland . Here the people are use to eat a cheese shandwich for their lunch and they have a one warm meal a day which is dinner at 6:00 o'clock but in my country we have two warm meals even we somtimes eat warm meal for breakfast such as liver , beef or chicken and our dinner is usually around 10:00 or 11:00 o'clock.
In first days it seemed to me too difficult to use their transport , because they use bikes and I'm use to have my car .We use car a lot because oil is very cheap.
However , I'm accustomed to riding bicycle .There are a lot of differences between my home and Holland .
hi
i am Zahra from iran.
iran is an Islamic country.one of the islamic rules which is obligatory here and maybe seems strange to foreigners is that women here must wear scarves and cover their hair and body in the society, although nowadays this logical and useful rule is not obeyed completely.
there are other things seeming strange like this rule that drinking alchohole and selling it is not allowed, also eating some kinds of hamful meat like pig's flesh is forbidden here.
i will be glad to hear your comments about it .also please let me know more about your culture.
have a good time:)
