Hi all friends, today I am going to talk a little about my city (province) Daraa..Daraa is a beautiful Syrian province to the south of Damascus (the Syrian capital) around 70 miles, bordered by neighboring Kingdom of Jordan.Daraa is a unique place, here you can enjoy fresh air and charming nature, it is just like other parts of Syria (the land of civilizations).Daraa is proud of hosting and guarding several archaeological and historical sites. It is most famous for the ancient Romanian theater and auditorium in the well known town of Busra Cham, it is very interesting place to visit.If you ever come to Daraa never forget to go to Telshihab town to enjoy Telshihab valleys and waterfalls, it is an example of free nature scenery embracing your free soul and emotions (this feeling is superb in early morning, you have to try it and feel it yourself) it is a real huge painting made with live colors and material.Now I'll talk a bit about life activities in my province. Agriculture is the main activity here : basically olive, grapes, wheat, vegetables, and many other crops.Now days there is a promising growth in industry (the products of Saida Carpet Factory have reached Europe), and most important tourism. In deed Syria is a favorite destination for millions of tourists from all over the world.Finally I have to tell you that Daraa is a part of Suhl Horan it literally means the plain of Horan (because it is mainly plains).
