  • Will yes most of people in my community do the same they even notice that they are doing it and if you mention it they become defensive
  • Gulzar,

Humans are complicated and crazy at the same time. Never ever try to understand them. They don't even know what they are doing themselves most of the time. ha ha ha

  • The first one is common in our country. We try to save the crisp, new bills or paper money or even the new designed coins especially.

What I can share about a 'strange behaviour' of the people in our country is the pouting of our lips while pointing something. When somebody asks, for example, '' where's my wallet''. It is common that people will respond with,  ''there, over there'' while pouting and pointhing their lips to that the thing is. I didn' t know it is considered strange to other cultures until I have watched something on Youtube that it is a funny thing to do.

Thanks for the info of your country.

  •      I think you shouldn't blame people of your country about their behaviors  . Because such things that you find as wired or strange might be contributed to historical phases,  where people suffered from the impact of unknown factors for us . Believe me that their social behaviors have reasonable  explanations   . I will give you an example from my country  people don't fill the cup with coffee  , they only pour a little of coffee  . The amount is enough for you to sip quickly.

Why is this ?  Arabia consists of dry deserts , where people can't find enough water and food . People used to pour little of the coffee in the cup in order to give the chance for all the guests to drink  .

Nevertheless  , people still do it today even though Saudi Arabia is a wealthy country  , without knowing  why ? or asking for the reason behind it .

This is what is called in social studies " group behaviors " or " the social mind "

So , think twice before calling a behavior a strange or wired one :)

  • Oi there,

It is interesting to notice that even if people come from far away countries and have different cultural customs, some of their "odd behaviour" are common, here in Poland people also try not to spend new banknotes, get the seat near the window and pay the bills just before the bell rings!!! ;)

Hm...I did not notice any girl paying special attention to her heejab at our nudist beach! :(

    • Whoa, Risperski! Man, what happened to you that you just disappeared all of a sudden? I just stumbled on this old message of yours here. I remember once you told us that the “perski” at the end of your name meant “Persian,” ‘cause your parents had traveled from Poland to Iran and you were actually born there. You were such a cool, polite Polish guy that everybody liked.

What really struck me was that even though your parents were just visiting Iran, and you never actually lived there yourself, you still added “Persian” to your name. As a non-nationalist Iranian who’s got a thousand complaints about my own country and people, I honestly felt kinda small in front of that gesture.

I don’t know what happened to you, man — you used to be here every single day. I wasn’t really into chatting myself, but I always saw you online, talking with everyone, and people loved your presence.

I just hope you’re safe and doing okay. Can’t help but think something bad might’ve happened. I think it was around the Covid days when you suddenly vanished. Anyway, I just hope you’re still out there, healthy and well, my dear Risperski — the lovable Polish-Persian.

  • Funny blog! Really it made me smile though some of them prevail here too...lol...and, what to say I also like to watch when airplanes fly ....keep blogging.
