Never had I waited for her for such a long time before. Rarely had she given me such a tough time. Hardly had I reached the rendezvous, when I received a call from her that she would not be able to come till the end of the day, and at the same time I was asked not to leave the place. Never have I been treated so indifferently and ignored when I needed her company so badly. No sooner had the day ended than I received another call from her informing me that she would not be able to come. I at last, managed scarecely to come out of the shock and left the place to drive back to home dejectedly.

@ Expector:
I have tried to fix as you advised. Please check.
I was waiting someone to catch the theme of grammer in this blog, and you were in my mind Expector.
Thanks a lot.
Sounds like a love story!
Great. You've used inversion in your blog. Yes, you need to use inversion with the negative expressions such as hardly, never, no sooner, scarcely.
The last sentence "Scarcely had I..." needs fixing, though. Hope you get it.
