I bet it was hard to read the title, wasn't it? Your reading speed was interrupted as you were trying to 'decode' those weird-looking words. Very frustrating, huh? This is how a dyslexic feels every time they want to read something. Welcome to their world! Dyslexia is a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, however, that do not affect general intelligence.
Daniel Britton created a font that shows how difficult it is to read for dyslexics. "I created a typeface that would be almost illegible so that it would slow down the reading pace of a non dyslexic person to the speed of a dyslexic and in return recreating the frustration, the embarrassment of reading with the condition," he said.
This blog entry is about raising awareness of dyslexia.

Thanks for droppin' by, dear JET.
Well, I'm glad it made an impact. Thanks for stoppin' by, dear Shaila.
Beg to differ, Onee. Actually, when Thomas Edison was ten, his teacher kicked him out of school 'cause he was a slow learner, and disrupted the class by asking questions all the time. Guess what? He was dyslexic. Fancy that! So, yeah, it's kind of a big deal. I wanna reiterate dyslexia does not affect general intelligence, though. Teachers ought to be a little more patient with such kids. That's all.
Thanks for the link. I'll check it later from laptop. Thank you , Aseven. :)
Dear Onee,
Dyslexia is a disorder that can be managed via some special treatments and a lota support. I'm not an expert on this, hence those links.
I'm all for that. Ooh, almost forgot! There are dyslexia symptoms tests available for the teachers and/or the parents who want to assess their kids.

Then, I concluded myself, when someone is still kids and eager to learn, the teacher who can ignore him/her from this learning bug. So that, it will not continue until they are adult. Whatever the way. Teacher should find a way. Teachers, be creative!
I was also inspired by a Hindi Movie.. ...Taare Zameen Par. That's a great movie. I want to hear from you. :)
Haha! Don't worry about it. Grammar is none of my concern. Not at all. You can talk like Yoda. I'm cool with it. Yep, you're absolutely right. Dyslexia has nothing to do with the general intelligence.
I wanted to comment here before, but I made the mistake to try to 'solve' grammar problems in a blog here, and I just got a brain attack.... I'm recovering now, so excuse me if my comment is kind of clumsy haha
Fortunatelly, now we know that dyxlesia is not an obstacle to reach your goals. And it's far from being an intellectual limitation!
Bill Gates, Graham Bell, Edison, Einstein, Newton, Steve Jobs, Beethoven, Mozart... all of them were geniuses and they were dyslexic too. Would anyone dare to think they were 'limited'? ;)
[Gates still is alive, so replace 'were' for 'is' and 'them' for 'he' and... well, all the present time and singular stuff -- ugh that grammar blog killed me, sorry]
Thanks for sharing this post.
My pleasure, dear Seeker. Thanks for stopping by.
Dear Evangelina,
Finally! Agree. 100%! I'm all for being colorful and all, but sometimes a text with a rainbow splattered all over it is just too much. Thanks for your tactful comment.
