I want to tell you the story about a famous Russian programmer Kris Kaspersky (now he works in American company “McAfee” as a senior reverse engineer). I have read this story in a Russian journal “Hacker”, #139, 08.2010, p.082-087(www.xakep.ru).Kaspersky tried to learn writing in a good English, but nobody agreed to publish his articles, because of his bad English! :-))) But the talented person is talented in every respect (in all his/her things)!Kaspersky managed to get a job of writing erotic stories in a “yellow press” (tabloids) magazine. Kris portrayed the love affairs of Girl-Lesbian in the first person! :-))) His English was very bad, but this kind of stories inspired young preoccupied with sex persons with passion! And the subeditor of the magazine answered in the affirmative manner (said “yes”)! Correctors almost totally rewrote Kaspersky’s stories and corrected his errors. Kris was fined for many mistakes and blunders, his wages were only five dollars for a magazine article, but… It was “a school of young fighter”!In a view of Kaspersky, in the USA there is no linguistic environment. So, even if you have a big practice in English, you feel some difficulties and/or even troubles.What do you think about it?Note: Special thanks to Natasha Yankovakaya for helping with my English!
It sounds like Kris was determined to learn English as much as some of you here in our club. I hope none of you ever have to write those kinds of stories in order to gain the success that you want. As long as you all continue to participate in this club and actively communicate with your caring friends, you should never need to write pornographic stories. Besides, this is more fun even if there is no 5 dollars per blog.

I've read all the comments, and they surprised me into admiration! I fully agree with the idea that we should use as many methods of learning and teaching English as we can! I especially love the words by Nadiyah:"don't be afraid to have an unusual way to learn English"!
The story told by you, Inga, shows us the instance of incredible persistence and resourcefulness which were awarded at last.

The vocabulary, for erotic story is, likely different from hackers vocabulary, but you learn more grammar and everyday English from erotic story, than from text book of hackers, that is full of hackers slang.
So it's one alternative.. for those who are passionate for that stuff.. But it sounds lewd.. maybe it's all just advertise for those erotic stories. lol
