Yesterday I took part in my dance school's end of year presentation. I was thrilled the whole day.
I have goose bumps every time I see people dancing on the stage. It's like an energy that leads their selves closer to what's purest within themselves. And I'm very thankful to be part of this group of "dancing people".
Many countries were represented in different kinds of dance: India - modern arabic bellydance, Colombia - gipsy dance, Morroco and Egypt - folk arabic dance, the United States - modern jazz, Cuba, Uruguay and Argentina - ballroom dance, Spain - regional dance (Andaluzia style), Russia - ballet, and many others.
At the end of the event, all the teachers from Instituto Livre de Artes danced to the same song. It's was a song paying tribute to Brazil - ballroom dance came first, then gipsy, then bellydance. I was moved to notice that dance is a language that can be understood by the whole world, and it has the power to touch deep in our hearts.

I totally agree with you, Adam. The body speaks even when we do not want it to. And I'm fascinated by this language. Thanks for your comment.
