NVM, Lady Anne. Not everyone is supposed to be good at BINARY. After all, everybody has their own interests, don't they ? and that's the silver lining :) u r more than welcome, Annie.
haha...I am not good when it comes to number, most especially number systems. When being confronted by numbers, the left side of my brain shrinks. I don't know if it's basic or not but I am totally lost.
Thanks anyway, Eslam. My comment is kind of asking confirmation. When I saw the word "binary", what came into my mind were the codes being used by the computers. haha.
Then again, Lady Anne, here is what the quote meant : There are 10 types ( base 10 ) of people in this world In this world ( decimal world ), those who understand binary ( base 2 ) and those who don't. i.e. ( 10 types of ppl in decimal world turned out to be only 2 types in binary world )
once and for all, (10) in decimal has the same role as (2) in binary :D
u need to have very little knowledge of Number Systems ( or rather binary numbers ) to get the quote correctly ..
Both 1 and 0 are binary numbers. Now what type of people belong to those who understand binary and those who don't? It seems that there's no choices after all.
As for u, meadow, having two sides " dark and bright " makes u goes under " optical physics " category. btw, here is the explanation of the previous Quote : There are 10 types ( base 10 ) of people in this world In this world ( decimal world ), those who understand binary ( base 2 ) and those who don't. i.e. ( 10 types of ppl in decimal world turned out to be only 2 types in binary world )

anyways, I'm glad u tried, Anne :D

I hope i didn't confuse u more than u were.
Basically, MaYa, there is no " 10 " in binary.
I think u got it right, even though i didn't quite understand u.
two types actually: as in binary numbers, the decimal number 2 is written as 10
