I hope you like it. Thanks to visit my country with me… =)
Let’s go to start…
Pronunciation: ah-gwas-kah-lee-EHN-tehs.
Spaniards settling in the area in the 1500s discovered the hot springs, or aguas calientes ("hot waters" in Spanish). They named their settlement Villa de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de las Aguas Calientes (Home of Our Lady of the Assumption of the Hot Springs). This name was eventually shortened to Aguascalientes (which means hot waters).
Aguascalientes is famous for its therapeutic hot springs. There are many parks and recreation centers for camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, and fishing.
The San Marcos National Fair, held in late April or early May each year, features art exhibits, rodeos, bullfights, a gambling casino, pageants, and music. Some people use to say The San Marcos National Fair it’s the biggest bar of the world. I have never been in The San Marcos Fair but I have to go in order to prove it.
A few days ago I were in Aguascalientes but I only visited the downtown which it’s really nice.
This is the Legislative Palace
The Aguascalientes' Catedral
Place of Homeland
The symbol of our flag an eagle eating a snake
La Saturnina
I visited a good restaurant named “ La Saturnina” where there are typical food, I can suggest this place because the quality of food it's good and I really enjoyed it.
Also you will find some gadgets really very old.
Around Aguascalientes' downtown
I hope you have the opportunity to visit Aguascalientes by the moment at least you know it through this blog.
Finally I want show you the typical folk dance from Aguascalientes and the song "Pelea de gallos"
Thank you to come with me friends… just next time
