I went to a convenient store and bought cup "yakisoba".

It's regular price was 198 yen ($2.5), but I bought discounted one.

I got it for 138 yen. About 30% off! Yay!

How to make cup "yakisoba"

1 Pull back the lid to one-third of the total.

2 Take out some small packets from inside.

DO NOT EAT

This is just a seal of anime characters.

Normal cup "yakisoba" doesn't have this kind of things!
However, this product is a made of collaboration with anime, "K-ON!!".
So, it might be a good bonus for "K-ON!!" fans lol

The Other packets

This is a packet of liquid-sauce.

This is a packet of ground seaweed.

3 Pour hot water

4 Put the lid back on and wait for three minutes.

(Note) This is another common way to use a dictionary.

5 Rip off the corner of the lid so that you can discard hot water.

6 After discarding hot water, pull back the lid to the end.

7 Add liquid-sauce and mix well.

8 Sprinkle ground seaweed. It's done!

Wow.. looks delicious.. here in my country we only eat a soup called Cup Ramen Nissin. they`re the only one and of course local trademarks. but I`m sure that the original are the best!.. continue posting about your traditional food!.. I`m going to send you a pic from our "Tamales"..

Hi James! You’re absolutely right! I think Maruchan is way better than Nisshin. I like Maruchan best. My favorite noodles are “Midori no Tanuki”, “Yakisoba bentou”, and “Yatai jyuhachiban”. I wonder what is your favorite. (I don’t usually buy Nisshin products. The reason I bought this one is simple. I like “K-ON!!” )

They prepackaged small dried cabbage in the cup. I didn't even know that there was the tips like that! But, I wonder how did you get the tips? Did you come up with the tips on your own? ^_^

Thank you for reading my blog. People generally assume that it is not good for our health to eat this kind of food. I agree with it, but I have to admit that some instant noodles are so yummy!

Hi Hardi,
In Japan, convenience stores often sell food products that have a package with some popular anime characters. For example, in Seven-Eleven, you can see some packages on "Pokemon" as well. So as you said, it's marketing...hahaha.

I put shredded cabbage under the noodle, so that it does not stick to the lid. That's my secret tips. Do you do the same, Kaoru? ^_^
