It was an extremely exciting moment when the news said the first miner had been rescued early this morning. Now the 17th miner of 33 is just rescued and 17 miners are still underground and waiting to be rescued gradually. It's a harrowing days and nightmare for them to trapped in such a deep place for 69 days. If you were them or their family, can you image how they feared they would never see their family again? And how do you re-see yourself, a new life given from God again if you were them,Chilean miners. If I were them, I would love my family and friends more than before. And I would also like to devote my experience and life trying to do my best to do lots of advantages to people who need as long as I can because it's the one of the important reasons God gave me the new life. I would cherish every moment I have getting along with my family and friends, moreover, I may want to do some crazy things that I scared and never did before such as go traveling some countries by myself only or scuba diving. And I would say sorry to the person I may hurt before if having a good chance. The life is so precious and changeable. Sometimes when we lost some things then we would know how valuable they are for our life, but it seems too late to retrieve them so we should appreciate what we've had already no matter how small thing or stuff it is. How do you think if you were them?
Tara, that's a good place for practicing our listening. And the free lesson you recommended is also a good resource for teachers and students learning English from that news. Since we knew the news from our mother tongue by the local media first, we'll be more easier to discuss this topic in English. Thank you.

Exactly, God ia amazing! One of the miners named Urzua, the last one to be resused, was first to contact with outside world, and divided the cans of tuna that helpled keep them alive, and organized his men into three work shifts until they were discovered. His calm down and wisdom brought them a new life and a miracle as well. Good job!!
OH LORD!! Everyone is alive and in a good shape, thanks God for keep all of them. It was a miracle, they survive in a little room for 69 days with not enough food and water.
GOd is amazing!!! :)
Like U.S. President Obama said the rescue a " tremendously inspirational story" The six rescuers themselves hoisted out after the 33 miners had been extracted that is the most greatest spirit we should admire and respect for.
I learn some useful idioms from your comment, thank you,Expector Smith.
Wow, yes, it's so amazing, touching! Unbelievable - all the 33 miners were rescued after struggling in the deep sunless pit for more than 2 months.
Sounds like you just put words into my mouth, but I'll try to put my feeling into words, too. I was moved beyond words when I saw the first miner come out of the capsule on TV - I felt like bursting into tears. I was also impressed when the first rescuer successfully descended into the deep, where he had to face up to the uncertainty and live up to his talent. He made it, they made it, we all made it!
