Lunch today will be...

Eating healthy is important.

No kidding! It is a serious issue when it comes to growing children, because what's known as the junk food (not to them of course!) is ruining their healthy eating habits. The Sweetgreen restaurant chain released a series of school lunch comparisons from all over the world, to show us how culture could affect the diversity of school lunches. From a US or UK point of view, the school lunches in many other countries look mouth-watering and fresh. Unfortunately, lunch ladies have earned reputations as distributors of icky, vile and toxic blobs. I mean, in each and every movie or TV show they're ready to gouge the students' eyes out with their scoops at any minute.

Huh. Come to think of it, they always looked intense to me when I was a kid, you know?

*The list of the countries is in alphabetical order.

How was your childhood school lunch?

A.

or

B.

P.S. These two pics represent the quality of your school lunch not the lunch ladies!

  • I was just curious with the structure of the sentence, not messing with you, dear. Why are you always suspicious to me. hiks. :(

  • Wait a sec, are you messin' with me? Not cool, miss missy!

  • Hahaha, I see I see...

I was just curious, dear. Thank you. ;)

  • They look fine to me.
    To me, they look fine.
    I ain't a grammar Nazi, dear. Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. I don't give a hoot.
"Expected smiles" back! Whatever they are, they sound like mild fun.

  • Lunch box. Mmm...

I rarely brought a lunch box during my school years. I preferred to buy or eat a lunch when I reached home. However, here in my country, some parents prepare themselves the lunch box for their children, or at least from home, whoever cooks it.

Mmm...since it's a lunch box, means the food will be saved in it for several hours. I don't think it's always good to eat even when it's a delicious food. Bread may be better but fruits is surely the best.

Your blog always catch my eyes. ;)

Btw, may I ask a grammar rule to you, dear. :)

You wrote "they always seemed a little bit intense to me". Is this same with "they always seemed to me a little bit intense"? Thank you...

I feel a bit awkward to say 'hug', so I say......an expected smiles. ^_^
