There is no doubt EC is a charming place. Our hard-working moderators have made EC a convenient and effective learning and teaching site and they are dedicated to make it better. Folks, just make the best use of EC, and I'm sure they are happy to know you are cherishing their efforts.

I've been here for about 1 year. EC has helped me improve my English a lot especially in writing. I am enjoying writing blogs here because of the support from my teachers and friends on EC. I picked up a phrase before, namely give and take. This morning when I read Teacher Tara's blog "No Blog Left Behind", I thought of this phrase again, and I was inspired and moved by Tara. It's absolutely a supportive and excellent policy. Actually as a blogger, I've noticed the importance of encouragement from others, and I always try to leave my comment when I read a blog here.

On one hand, we really need to be generous to support other bloggers. To leave a comment or click the like button below is a good way to show our care to them in fact. On the other hand, as a blogger, to make your blogs more readable and attractive is of significance. And I'd love to share with you a little of my humble experience if it doesn't bother you.

I've read quite a few blogs here, and among them there are interesting ones as well as wishy-washy ones. I found that those whose blogs have a novel title and deal with new points or new contents attract me most. But I know it is not easy to post a brand new blog especially for those who just start their writing journey on EC. Thus, I have some easier ways for you.

First of all, your blog needs a title, better not too long. I've read some blogs without a title or with a very long title. Normally when I am at home, I'll try to read more blogs. Yet when I am outside especially in a short break, I tend to choose the blogs with clear short and not boring titles.

Secondly, your blog should be organised. You can deal with your blog by several paragraphs and each paragraph contains a clear point you want to express. Also, pay attention to your punctuations because details count.

Last but not least, you can pick an apt font and color for your blog. If you like, you can also add some pictures to your blog. Or you can chat with those who are good at posting blogs and ask for their successful experience. By the way, you can summarize the secret from studying the featured blogs as well if you are shy to chat with them.

Oh, I forget one point. Bloggers, better reply to those who leave you a comment. Interaction will bring you unexpected sparkle. ;-)
