Hello my friends!
When passing by your precious blogs and discussions, I sometimes come across some mistakes: grammatical, spelling and others concerning structure and punctuation. Every time that happens, I feel like I need to correct them; howerver, I hold myself back and say," What if my correction hurts the feelings of the person in question; what if that person feels like his/her English is not good and stops writing again." To be honest with you, I won't be able to live with this burden. As a result, I've decided to carry out this poll in order to find out what you people think about my offer... What are you waiting for, folks? Go and rain me with your opinions!
PS, I will be very grateful in if you correct my mistakes in return.
Many thanks,
Lama

Hello Guys!
First of all, I'd like to thank you all very much for your support. Secondly, I want you to be sure that I'm going to correct only the things I'm %100 certain of. If I'm not sure about something, I won't mention it, or we may discuss it together. Thirdly, I'm not denying the fact that I make mistakes too and that I need someone to correct them for me.... Let's just put our hands together and enjoy learning...
Oh!
Dear lama!!
Why are we here?
I think most of people are here because of learning English.
It will be great if we help eac other in that goal.
Correcting mistake is a favor that one can do. I think many persons wish that their sentences be corrected by someone.
Please always do what you think is true.
I would appreciate it if someone tried to correct me!
Keep in mind that this is an English-learning/teaching club. You bet learners here will make some mistakes when they practice English. Actually, we all make mistakes - grammatical, spelling, or punctuation. We need to learn from our mistakes.
Be sure to give a "correct" correction. I bet you should consult some reference books before you correct them. Be aware that something you think is incorrect may actually be possible and acceptable. Good luck!
Oh and yes, I don't mind when someone corrects my English.
As long as it doesn't come with an insult.
(^_*)
How kind and considerate of you, Lamar.
Often than not, I just usually jumped in and try to correct someone else's mistakes either on blogs or in the chat room.
I've always had this same impression that everyone joined this club either to teach or to learn.
Although unsolicited, it's never my intention to make anyone feel humiliated or belittled.
But somehow sometimes I get misunderstood.
So I have learned to keep quiet (not all the time though) and control my urge to correct someone's incorrect grammar or misspelling, unless I've been personally asked to do so.
Wonderful, I'm looking for that, I really appreciate it if you can help me with my mistakes. I say thank you in advance for doing that. :)
