Tiny hearts

Some years ago, I bought a new motorbike. I normally parked it in the yard when going back home from work.

One evening, when I was cooking dinner in the kitchen, I heard my kids shouting excitedly: "Mom, come over here, you will see a very special thing we've done for you". I was so curious then I came to them.

Then I stunningly stared at my motobike. My brand new motobike was scratched vertically and horizontally with some thing edgy , a stone or a nail maybe. "Oh my God, what were you doing?" - I asked them angrily. "Can't you see it, mom"- they mumbled.

This time I looked at it more carefully, then I realized what it was. A crooked line of words "We love you, mom" decorated with lots of scattering tiny hearts around. Can you guess how I felt at that time...

My motobike has become older now. The scratches have been blurred. But still I have brought the tiny hearts along with me to every where I go since then

Hi dear friend!

I understand perfectly what you mean. How many stories I could tell you too!!

My first thought when something similar happens to me is 'I'm gonna kill them' hahaha... But when you think twice, you realice that it's their particular way to say: 'hey! I love you too, O.K.?'

After all I know you're proud of them and hope they keep on giving you these 'problems'
They are the soul and life of the party. God bless them.

P.S. If you ever buy a new car, you should keep it under lock and key :D

Hi Ali, I know what you mean. However writing is my job, so I respect all other works as well as mine. If I ever quote other sentences or ideas, I'm surely put it in quotation marks and give the sources. Thanks for your sincere comment.

Thank you all for your nice comments and the likes. I really appreciated. It is never easy to be the good parents. Your kids always make you happy as well as drive you crazy :). But they are the greatest gift I'm bestowed in life.

haha.....how naughty kids you have, I think it is the most amazing gift you've ever received :))))

I wonder how this idea came to their mind?!!!!! Anyway, they expressed their love to you in thier childish way :) you must be proud of them.
