Tiny approach towards big goal….

A big goal usually is something in the medium future or maybe in the far future.Sometimes the problem with big goals is that in the beginning, it inspires us, it gives us energy and we feel excited, but when things became tough and very difficult, as every tougher achievement behind have challenges. We give up to stay the phase.. because the goal actually hurt us & making feel bad & weak to go ahead for future move, it just feels too difficult and too far, even sometimes it leaves less motivation. In this way, sometimes a big goal or a big dream can actually stop us from moving forward. It can actually stop us from getting the success that we want. When all those things are happening need to apply tiny goals to move forward again.when we chose tiny goals due to such goals have a different kind of strength, where power comes from the fact as it focus us in this moment right now on something and help us to move for making small or little improvements.

A little goal is for now or in the very short future. Maybe our large goal to become a fluent speaker where need one or two years from right now, but a little by little goal is for tomorrow or next week. It’s much closer in the future, maybe just one week from now or maybe a month from now, when we think just this small movement   we are going to accomplish this small tiny little thing which move us forward one step closer. That’s the power of a little dream or when our motivation is low.. when we’re feeling tired, we need tiny retirement from hard work…as far I knew our friend smile was feeling bore after long time stay on learning pace.. We EC friend suggest him to take rest for tiny period for his mind refreshment, sure this little break will ignite positive energy to approach any difficulty.

As example, we want to speak like a foreigner. This big dream that we want to speak excellent and amazing English, firstly need to focus of imagination it, like “ imagine speaking English very powerfully & speaking in Eng a strong voice with correctly and easy to understand. When we focus on something very small right now... then settle what’s the next step to move one step closer to that big goal.. Not more or huge steps at a time but just what’s the next tiny little thing. then automatically we have got motivation for next step, each time we achieve a little move, a tiny goal.

Or…suppose first time, we wanted to read a book for one day, it seemed very tough and difficult. But when we plan to read 1 page per day it will leave an approach or interest to read next one page, each day read our normal amount then increases the quantity. The first week read one book then two or increase more, like this way we can finish full book by one day and then we can move another one basically using the same approach… just focused on the tiny step not marathon.

  • Thank you for kind response & be of the same thought about my Blog!

Dear I found a friend, she is awesome, fantastic, kind & incredible, nothing is comparable with her, we can easily say with great proud that she is our Laddy Anne! Thanks MyEC, you gave me she! Having a friend like you is a great thing.

And thank you, you did me a big favor by amending some area where I did mistake. Actually I don’t have vast knowledge about English, this is my learning stage, my vocabulary is less than required, as well so weak in Tense, the rules of tense play in my mind but can’t use them, especially during talking & writing, can’t set them out properly bcz the tense have stuck in my head, may be this happen due to there is also the belief that I am not in control of tense either, I am often tense and continually moving around regarding this issue. I find out it difficult to talk & write blog but don’t give up still.

I am at the stage where requires DEEP LEARNING! Need to stay with this language at least one year, more is even better, so that I can learn in a way, so it will remain in my brain FOREVER. I believe the amazing thing is that, it will happen unconsciously, with no study of the grammar or vocabulary lists or anything of this kind! at my beginning I was skeptic about learning, but now, I am confidence, sure enough after more than a year learning with EC, my mouth will speaks English by itself, without me deciding to do it consciously, I know this seems too magical to be real... but I have confidence, the feeling is there more vividly than before: I know that something wonderful will happen... and really I'm not in a hurry, because... you know what? I love that feeling more than what probably is happening... Maybe it's just that feeling the gift of believe that my EC friend (You, Noaslpls, Sono, WMW, Kacika, Josef, Smith, Mishaikh, Mickey, Shah,Kiriku, Dimas, Smile, Nida, Meem,Seeker, Saba, Sima,Stephen, Nishan,Miracle, Nawa & Maya & many others whom name I cant remember now) helps to input myself. Here each member is equally important for me as everyday I can learn something from them.

  • I fully agree with you Nirzhor.  As part of my life's journey, I always start from simple goals which can easily be reached.  To tell you the truth, I am afraid of aiming for higher goals.  As a simple person, I am devoid of any higher ambition to myself.  What I get and what comes along, I always regard them as something given to me from above and are always for my own good.

Nothing can be greater than having peace of mind and contentment in life.  Adversities in life are but trials to make you stronger and humble.

So don't aim for something which is not practical to reach.  Focus on whatever is at hand and be content with what you have.

By the way, can you fix/modify the following?

it gives us energy and we feel excited, but when things became tough and very difficult,

    *  as far I knew our friend smile was feeling bore after long time stay on learning pace..

we are going to accomplish this small tiny little thing which move us forward one step closer.

    The following are corrected/modified:

    * A big goal usually is something that can be achieved in the medium  near or far future or maybe in the far future.

When all those things are happening, we need to set our minds on apply tiny goals to move forward again.

    ______________

Your first paragraph and second paragraph are in the present tense but your third paragraph is in the past tense.  Be consistent with your tenses, Nirzhor.  That's one tip in making a nice proper blog.

Keep on blogging and practicing.  And please don't give up.  Little by little, you will reach your goal with flying colors.

  • I totally agree with you, Nirzhor. Learning a new language is a long and tough process that its easy for us to lost our goals. Sometimes as I feel bored and tired of it, I come here and get more inspiration and motivation to keep on learning. Do you know how can I do it? by reading such great blogs and meet such nice people like you in here. Btw, I know you are now very busy but if you have some free time, plz come to skype and talk to me occasionally.

  • Nice to see you hear Smith. You are right, to achieve big things, it is not enough we’ve got to get excited and imagine them without action. Because dreaming some thing will not magically help us to happen without act. Usually what needs to happen is that we have to focus & take a step forward. Only then it gives us power & confidence to reach the goal, and that’s the way,we achieve really success in the real world.

Thank you again for nice quote"you can't be fluent in a language overnight"

  • Great!

Yes, you can't be fluent in a language overnight. It really takes a lot of time and effort to learn English. Persistence is key to the fulfillment of your dream.

  • Any success is more likely with a good beginning which makes a good ending.

Always like to get comments from you(Sono). Thanks friend for your nice complement.

  • Hi, nirzhor,

Over Many years ago, Aristotle or Plato(Aflatoon) said that "Well begun is half done." And with regards to goals, he's right.
Paying attention to how we set our goals makes us more like to achieve them and achieving them makes us feel good about ourselves and our lives.

    Thanking to blogging.

  • You are right..Nirzhor.....but I have found, I am not following any rule to learn this foreign language but yes, I am too interested to learn this.
