Carnage ~ slaughter ~ butchery
Such words with such an awful memories and meaning.
We hope we do not have to live any.
However, we are predators.
I've heard about carnage since I'm a child.
I've heard about slaughter since I have memory.
I've heard about butchery during the whole of my life.
What kind of human are we?
This time I've decided to add my answer in both text and audio formats. Hope you don't mind ;-)

The word is 'carnage', I think! For example (used in a sentence):
I hope history will neverrepeat thecarnage, mass killing, of the First and SecondWorld Wars.
By the way, here are a fewsynonyms- words having similar meaning of 'carnage'. I believe they'll be useful to our fellow club members.
