The fox said, "Use your mind, for God's sake, and tell me how you sit on the chair of the throne with your tail underneath like that?"

The donkey said, "I didn't think about that and it didn't cross my mind either."

"That was why the lion wanted to cut it." Prompted the fox.

The donkey said, "You were right and true, take me to him to apologize, so that we can arrange the matters."

The fox took the donkey with him for the third time.

Then the donkey said, "I am sorry, and I am ready for whatever you ask from me."

The lion said, "Don't worry about it. These were only different of opinions."

The lion stood up. He devoured the donkey from his neck. The donkey was shouting, "Where do I put the crown?  Where do I put the crown? Where do I put the crown…. Until he lost his final breath.

  • No way Nobody. The donkey is a poor obedient creature. It always obeys. whenever you direct it, it goes. When it comes to cleverness take it away. Thanks

  • Hhhh
  • The morale of the story is this that who withwhatever status is bestowewd upon be contented with it and greed for power and undue status may result in harmful. Wisdom should be used to survive like the fox did.

    Nice story dara.
  • Nice story!

  • Hahah..  Donkey is a donkey.

I was expecting the donkey to be clever. But it was like expecting for the airplane in a harbour.

Well.  Nice story and lesson mr. Dara.  Thanks for sharing.

  • Keserakahan kalah, mod. Onee. We have a saying mod. Onee, (Greed loses and never adds). Mr. Tam used a big word for the donkey, (outwit). I was wondering why did we know that the donkey was stupid and the fox was cunning, the lion was courageous? Thanks, mod. Onee for your efforts reading and commenting.

  • Dasinuku, okina kotoba, excuse my poor Japanese, Tam! Outwit is a big word for the donkey. I could also see that mod. Onee was expecting the same from her comment. I told Leo that the donkey is very stupid. I wonder from where did we know that he was stupid? Thanks Tam for your comment.

  • I expect the end like Tam's. However, the donkey is also greedy by wanting the crown. Why did it need that... Actually no need.

"Greed makes one blind" What do you think of my conclusion, Teacher? :)

  • Laskavo prysomo Roman! Indeed, there is a meaning behind the story. I am glad you have taken some. Thanks for your comment on that story.

  • Hi, Dara. I didn't expect the end of this story. I expected the donkey would outwit the lion and the fox. He was just fooled.
