The key is to be readable

Yes, 'to be readable' means 'to be enjoyable and easy to read'.

I can tell that you do have a great idea or topic or something fun to share with us. You even managed to write a blog about it, but only to find that other members don't seem to be so interested in it. You're so frustrating and wonder what's wrong with your blog.

If that's true for you, you're not alone in feeling that. It's not easy for a learner to write something readable, even though they may have a wide vocabulary and know all the basic grammar rules.

You're encouraged to show your large vocabulary, but it's not a good idea to use so many rarely-used words in your blog, which may damage the readability. Something too long or lengthy isn't a good idea, either. A long blog can be so daunting for other members - you should know they read your blog because you really have a fun topic or just because they care, not because there aren't plenty of things to read.

Keep that in mind and try to shorthen your paragraph or blog - don't spoil an otherwise excellent blog. Yes, the key is to be readable.

I agree with your thoughts here.

Although I'm so enthusiastic in learning English, reading long text sometimes is a little torture for me. Too many new words make me don't understand the whole text message. Believe in me, doc. Though you said my English good, English is not my native, anyway.

I always say that learning English needs a fun way. We can learn the difficult words, but little by little. Our brain and our rush in our real life is limited, anyway. A medium writing would be the best choice.

About comment, nowadays, I comment on every blog that easy to comment and interested me. If it's nothing to talk about or difficult to say on comment, I will only push the like and I may comment later.

Honestly, I'm honest in my comment and like. I don't comment and like because of the friendship. If I don't understand and don't like, why should I say the opposite. But sometimes, I overlooked the blogs due to my limited time.

Yes, you can say that again. It can be such a good idea to use some pictures in your blog. Be careful, though, not to use pics downloaded from the Internet without permission. We encourage you to use those you took or drew.

Lengthy blog are read only when the are catchy, otherwise it is very difficult to read them. I have written one or two long stories, but I refrained to post them here, even in installments. But, may I request the learners of advanced level to please do contribute their share of responsibility by commenting, correcting and encouraging the raw students.
