The importance of positive words

Did you know that your words has a power?
whether it is a power to improve and build yourselves or the power to discourage and destroy yourself.

Have you ever heard the quote from Lao Tzu or the Mahatma Gandhi that almost has the same meaning..

“Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.”
― Lao Tzu

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

The truth from those saying is also supported by the discovery of Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto about the water crystals. He performed his research by collecting a sample of water from around the world, starting from clean water of mountain spring to a polluted water. He then slowly frozen them and then photographed them with a dark field microscope with photographic capability.
The result is very amazing, the clean healty water that came from such place like mountain spring, glacier has a beautiful formed geometrical crystals, but the polluted water cannot make a beautiful form at all.

He then continued his experiment by observing the effect of thought and words to the water. Interestingly the result is similar to the first experiments, the positive words formed a beautiul crystall and the negative words has the similar forms as polluted water.
(see http://www.unitedearth.com.au/watercrystals.html for more detailed information)

The fact is our body consist of 60% water, then the questions we should ask to ourselves is,
what about negative thought we supplied to our minds everyday?
Do we love listening to negative words that came unconciously from ourselves or from the music we listen everyday?
Do we often regret the past and continue to curse ourselves instead of forget it and hope for more beautiful future?

i think we should start reflect on ourselves..

(My friends, if you care enough, you can correct me for grammatical error and i would very grateful for you help, Thank you)

  • "The pen is mightier than the sword" - Edward Bulwer-Lytton (Richelieu; Or the Conspiracy). Words indeed the most powerful tools - they can be a weapon to take you down, or can be the positive push to up-lift anyone.
