THE 'HAPPIEST' COUNTRIES...

The United Nations just released its second World Happiness Report, which ranks countries according to happiness levels. Nordic countries are at the top this year, while the U.S., Egypt, and Greece are all more disgruntled than they were in years past.

  • Yeah, the full report is long, but the part related to the 'ranking of happiness' are just pages 23, 24 and 25 :)

@Syubidupapap, yeah i can't find Bhutan either, but you can read something about it on the page 103. There you can read: "Bhutan is the best known example where the
government has adopted the objective of maximizing its Gross National Happiness Index".
So yeah, it seems Bhutan is a very happy country... maybe for that reason is out of the ranking, so the rest of the countries don't feel jealous :D

  • Why didn't I see Bhutan on the list? I've heard that Bhutan is or was the happiest country... But I did find that they mention Bhutan and learned something from it, just I didn't know what that is. Too much for a reading, well... for me :D

  • The full report has 156 pages! :D:D

  • My country is the 76th, well... Home sweet home. Well, quite shocking to know china's position. Singapore and thailand, both the highest from south east asia. Nice info.
  • I've read it a few days ago, and was so depressed :-P I think it was just an oversight of them. They didn't interview me. :'(

  • Oh yeah, Malaysia is there, but is not too happy (#56) ...even if they have cute cats like you.. why? :(

Click on the full report and you'll see it :)

  • And my country is not even in that! LOL. And I guess Denmark is the happiest country because it's people always eat those yummy Danish  :P LOL
