The Emblem of Morocco

The emblem of Morocco contains all the symbols that makes and gives a wide idea about the aspects of Morocco. In this respect let us have a look at its components and their significance:- The flag in the middle: Morocco's flag, made in red field with an interwoven five pointed green star.- The range of the Atlas Mountains is in brown on the top of the flag: they are about 2 400km across North Africa and include the High Atlas, The Middle Atlas and the Anti-Atlas.- The rising sun in Yollow behind The Atlas Mountains.- The royal crown on top to indicate that Morocco is a kingdom.- The two lions are on both sides to protect the crown and hold the shield.- The ribbon underneath, on it there is an inscription in Arabic; it is a verse from the Holly Qoran. It says:" If you assist Allah, He will assist you." Or " If you make Him triumph, He will make you triumph too."I wish it is the right meaning of the inscription.Vewing this, we can have an idea about Morocco's regime, religion and nature.

  • Dear Hanane,

By asking such a silly question, I bothered you. I just wanted if I am thinking right or not because it is interesting that they select only this Arabic sentence from Holy Quran.

    Thanks a lot,
    All the best,
    Nafis
  • Dear Hanane,
Thanks for the information. It is interesting. The meaning of the inscription is " If you accompany God, God will accompany you." Is that right?

    Thanks,
    All the best,
    Nafis
