Hello guys!I read this story and I liked to share it with you . I hope you like it!" A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As thebarber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said :"I don't believe that God exists". Why do you say that? asked the customer." well , you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me if God exist , would there be abandoned children? Would there be so many sick people? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God whowould allow all of these things to happen . The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn'twant to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left, he saw a man in the street with long , stringy, dirty hair and untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt..The customer turned back and entered thebarbershop again and he said to the barber :" you know what?" Barbers don't exist because if they did , there would be no people with dirty, long hair and untrimmed beards like that man outside. " Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is , people don't come to me. " Exactly ! affirmed the customer. That's the point ! God too DOES exist !What happens is , people don't go to Him and don't look for Him.
Reflecting over " What happens is , people don't go to Him and don't look for Him", well...the barber remains fixed in one place so that people have to COME TO HIM....but as I heard, God is omnipresent therefore people are always and everywhere in His presence....no need to search for Him by candle light....
Hello, Amal.. Happy Ramadan for you and your family..
Well, you reminded me of a discussion held in this club long ago with a title
"Who is more God or your closest ones?"
There was a question raised in that discussion which was:
"Have you ever thought that some people die and they didn't deserve to die? Do you think God tests their relatives or punishes them? However, if you believe that everything what happened was meant to be...then your life is.... -I would say way- easier.."
And my answer was:
"I give you a little example in order to help you understanding my point...
Once, you had very lovely kids that you loved so much. you needed to put them in a very super kindergarten for a period of 4 months (for example) in order to get them well taught. you came after 4 months to take your kids home, but you were shocked that they denied you. they even refused to come with you, because they claimed to love their colleagues more than you. The rest of the story is for you to complete..."
