There is a whole lot of speculation about the future of test cricket, that it should be bended, molded, transformed to cope with the fast pace of modern games. TESTING TIMES FOR TEST CRICKET - I say NAY. The latest arguments to back my negation are the tests recently played in this month and just before it. We see the epic ASHES series of England vs Australia is in full swing, the first two test have been as exciting and nerve wrecking as any game can be. On the other hand we have seen the unpredictable and dynamic nature of the game with the test series between Pakistan and Srilanka, they have been changing every passing moment not knowing which team is with the momentum. It is the policy of ICC that is hurting test cricket the most. The ICC wants to earn money and want it in bulk, therefore they are putting the future of the Ultimate form of cricket on the line.I hope that there is someone who knocks some sense into them. Otherwise fiddling with the purest form of the game may blacken its future for ever. Thanks all,By Naveed
