Tara's Weekly News

Have you joined Tara's Weekly News group? Some of you may even have failed to notice it.

Tara is no longer the admin here on MyEC, but is still the host of the Weekly News here. So the good news is you can still learn and improve your English by reading and listening to the news Tara rewrites and records.

I know there are so many fans of Tara. Yes, I love her English too.

Some members here keep arguing that it can be so boring to keep learning the basic rules of English. They mean they need something that's happening or just happend around the world. They find it fun to discuss something new, or the news, instead of the rigid English grammar.

Don't you think it's a good idea to learn or teach English here while knowing what just happened across the globe, and also knowing what others think of it? That's just what Tara's group is set up for.

Let the world know what you think of the news and learn English with Tara. See you there!

Thanks Doc. Yes, it's the same school. Our new superintendent is slow in approving transfer applications (rather not approving) of teachers who wish to teach near their homes.

Great - your comment is always music to my ears. Yes, we should keep learning English grammar or other basic rules of English, no matter how boring it can be.

By the way, are you still teaching in the rural school? Do you still need to risk going all the way on the top of a van? Take care, my friend!

Amazing decision which opens new doors. Reality is a really good motivation when learning something, if you are quite keen to know etc..... that is what you need to learn, according to me.

By the way, I am really happy to know that Tara would be here, great chance to us thank you Tara.

Also, reading and recording news group has been poor to get feedback (lately), it'll be efficient now,

I love it, Doc. This is something to look forward to every week. So glad to know that Tara will be there to host, too. Wow! 2016 is not a year of complete sadness.

For the English enthusiasts (elementary or advanced learners), Weekly News Group is another section of EC where we can expand our English practice.

I am at present back to my daily routine again. Classes resumed last January 4, so my active participation to EC will suffer again. But I will not overlook this group even if it means signing in to EC just to visit it.

But I am hoping that EC will not abandon giving basic rules of English to most of the members since a lot of EC members are not on an advanced level and majority needs special attention to guide them on constructing flawless basic English.

Learning English, be it basic or advance should never be a boring activity. In my six years of stay in MyEC, I never forsook learning the basic rules of English because I always believe that having this attitude can strengthen our English foundation.
