Day 7 : Prague Castle and Lesser Town
a fruit store displayed assorted fruits on the way to Prague's Eiffel Tower
You can find this kind of flagstone everywhere. This road is considered to be good for nature but making a loud noise when cars pass through.
Some young people took pictures with these statues.
lining up for the cable car to the tower
The view was taken from the cable car.
Before arriving the tower, a beautiful garden welcomed us first.
It has 299 stairs and is 60 meters high tower on Petrin Hill.
When you are here at night, you might be attracted by its romantic.
You have two choices to get on the top of it. One is to climb it by your feet for about one hour or take the elevator within few minutes. It would be definately pity if you missed this attraction.
Here is a short video I took in the tower.
The scenery of the whole castle is completely magnific and fabulous.
It is the largest ancient castle in the world. If you are interested in its history please click here.
Just like a building museum spread around Prague.
No matter where I took the pictures, the scenery of Prauge castle always looks fascinating. I really wish the time held on when I was there. The couple we met was on the way to Charles Bridge. When I intended to take pictures of my family, they helped us automatically to take pictures. After that, we had a short talk. They are a friendly couple that is from Belgium. Their daughter is studying in Prague, and they spent time here waiting for their daughter to finish the class while meeting us. Talking to people all over the world during the trip is sometimes an unexpected gift for a traveler. It was good and unforgettable memory.
People living in Prague is more likely taking a walk with dogs often. In order to protect the environment from being contaminated, here they provides the paper bags for dog lovers. It's quite considerate.

Entrance at the Prague Castle
inside of the cathedral
The renowned writer Franz Kafka lived in the Golden Lane for some time during the World War I. (We couldn't get in the lane since it has being repaired.)
It is like the souvenir below (The house of N.22 is where Franz Kafka lived in)
Charles Bridge and Vltava river
The bridge is 516 meters long and 10 meters wide or so. It is also decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues. Find more about the detail of those stautes please see here.
John of Nepomuk, one of the statues on the bridge. He was thrown into the river Vltava from here in 1393.
at the end of the Charles Bridge.
the view of the Mostecká, the end of the picture is the Church of Saint Nicolas.

Hello Addel,
Even though you took the city tour without spending a single coin, you still spent your precious time with those photos. I am appreciated and happy you loved them. Sharing photos with friends is always my pleasure and interest. Thank you, Addel.
Hello Syubi,
Thank you for the comment. We have similar taste, I like these pictures too.
Flagstones are those that are made of a piece of stone on the roads, not yellow lines.
It actually has its rule and shape designed to match the roads, when you see it in person, you would find it special. Though its surface is uneven, roaming around on it is like we are back to the medieval times.
Awww again beautiful pictures. These are my favorites pictures:
Umm one question. What for are those flagstones (they are those yellow lines on the road, right?)? Those flagstones are too messy..
Oh, really? Skyandhill, that's great you will also go travelling soon. Where are you going?
I agree with you. When I was on vacation, I only concerned where I would go and what kind of diverse food or dishes I could taste, hahaa.. I always gained many kilograms after coming home.
How about you? Hope you have a nice trip.
Hi dear Nida,

Have a nice day.
Hello Manuela,
When I was there, there had lots of tourists surrounded us no matter where we were.
The roads around Prauge would probably packed with crowd during that time, isn't it?
I am sure it must be a beautiful experience for you being there. Thanks a lot for viewing my post again.
O dear Grace, what a great post!
Soooooo many wonderful pictures!! Thank you so much for sharing with us, dear friend. I loved your blog very much.
Whaou, again a wonderful post. Thanks Grace. All your photos remind me about my trip there , it was about 4 years ago in December. I chose to go there in December because of the Christmas atmospher they have all around the city at that period of time. It was magic.
Your pictures are great. Thanks again.
