This is my first time to go Europe from April 28 to May 11 this year. Everything in Europe is completely new, fresh and interesting for me. That's why I couldn't control myself taking about more than two thousand photos. At the same time, it was also a good chance for me to practice English. From the next blog, I will try to keep posting some of photos to share with you.
The trip included three countries- Holland, Germany and Czech Republic. Before arriving in our destination, we had to fly for 14 to 15 hours from Taipei to Amsterdam via Bangkok, Thailand. This was a big challenge for me as I never took such long distance flight before. So, I had two books and MP3 to help kill time. Have you ever had this kind of experience and how do you usually spend your time on the airplane or other public vehicles? Please share your experience with me.

@ Yoh
20 hours? Wow.. it's quite unbelievable journey, which may not be good for our health. But, I believe as long as you are a travel lover, everything you do before arriving the destination is worth, isn't it?
As for interesting movies, I watched three films on the plane during this flight. One was The Green Hornet. The second one was Gulliver's Travels, which is also fun movie. It describes he travels in Lilliput. The last one was really touching film made from Japan named 1778 Stories of Me and My Wife. It is talking about a husband who knows her wife gets the cancer then how he trys to do his best of writing an interesting story each day for his wife. I was moved by the story. If you don't have seen it yet, perhaps you can find it to take a look.
Hi Grace, my travel to and from my home town in Japan always takes over 20 hours, because the flight needs two stops. Most of the time, I try to read books, but I fall asleep soon after because of such enduring trip T_T
During the flight, I also enjoy movies. They are all newly released ones and worth checking out. The best movie I've experienced was "The Bucket List" on the plane from Amsterdam to Detroit. The worst one was "Taitanic", because when the ship was about to sink, my plane went into turbulence and scared me a lot ^_^ Have you found any interesting film on the plane?
@ Forget-me-Not
That must be a good and interesting experience sitting to a talktive person. No wonder you don't worry about the long flight as you have yourself many things to do. Unfortunately, I am not lucky like you. Sitting next to my seat was a man who is around age 60. The only talk we did was "Excuse me "and "Thank you" because I had to go lavatory. hahaa..
Thank you for sharing me your nice experience. Have a good time.
Hello Grace,
Usualy, when i take the plane for so many hours, i have a good book with me and i read most of the way. The rest of the time, i try to sleep even if it is not easy for me. Sometimes i listen to some relaxing music that i downloaded on my hipod. And if i have the chance to sit close to a talkative person, i like to talk with him/her. A few times, i met people i am still in contact with.
i wish you a great holiday.
@ Selma
