As I locked the door and asked for lifting
No, I was not lifted, I went down
“Ting” the elevator door signaled me to go out
I silently prayed for the day to be great,
Okay, okay, to have a good day is enough to create
I gazed around and the sun rays hugged me
Coated my body and the shivers left me
Oh, how nice! How splendid!
It’s a brand new day that no one forbids
I beamed having a reason flashing my mind
I shook my head, and think I’m crazy, oh boy! I could’ve been so blind
My sole moves forward and system-wide awake,
I pressed the button to broadcast the plan to make
Signal light compelled to do what I asked for
Automobiles stopped in their speeds that soar
Yes, this is it! This is a wonderful morning, isn’t it?
Let me sing my heart out, yes! No! No, don’t make me stop the beat!

The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamt I held you in my arms…

“hey, good morning!” a cheerful greeting from an office mate
“good morning!” I smiled back that could relate.
