But things turn differently because of the El Niño phenomenon. Constant humidity affects a lot of people. Heat stroke is rising and farms are drought affecting the farmer's living. In this case prices of commodities go up, it's like a domino effect.
Some parts of my country are under state of calamity. Government issued an advice to bring awareness to the people on the effects of El Niño.
For people living in urban areas, drinking a lot of water is one of the best ways to prevent heart burn and heat stroke. Staying indoors is also one, especially the senior citizens. Some people spend their free time going to the malls because of cool atmosphere. Planting plants in our backyard also helps lessen the humidity because plants release oxygen making our air clean. Staying under shaded areas also help if your outdoors. Wearing shades if your traveling and bringing a bottle of water to combat thirst are good tips too.
Using solar energy is being practiced in large countries. It's about time that my country should start using this kind of energy, if other countries can do it, there's no reason my country cannot do the same right?
I'm taking and practicing what I've learned from that tips. I know that even simpler things will be a great helped to my country and to the planet we live in.
Until my next blog.......
See you and God Bless!

Yeah me too worrying about the disastrous efffects of El Niño to our country...Imagine no rainfall to nearly 4 months...It brings a lot of problem to our country like you mentioned to your blog...Do you remember before rainy days and summer days are both wonderful...Balance climate..But now both these season are extreme weather..When rainy days come, sure floods and when the summer comes means drought..hmmm..really..the earth is changing, so does the climate...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts...

I know summer can be hard to spend in your country - typhoon, floods, too high temperature. People here where winter can be so harsh, however, prefer summer to winter.
You did give some helpful suggestions. Don't be too worried about the coming summer. Just hope for the best!
