Today was a great day! It finally has become warm once again after a very long winter.I have seen several birds that have returned after flying south for the winter. Their lovely songs are such a delight to hear. And flowers are beginning to bloom once again. Some of the first flowers to appear are the yellow daffodils and the many-colored tulips. And here, the farmers put their cows out; I must admit that I really enjoy eating the dairy products the cows produce... cheese, cream (for my coffee) and, of course, ice cream. I am so glad cows live here!I love living in a small rural village; so many people have to live in crowded polluted cities. I had my turn of living in cities and enjoyed it, but now enjoy a slower, cleaner, quieter and more nature-attuned life.How about you? Where do you live? Do you like it or would you like to live somewhere else?
Hi. I have had some warmth spring weather too. Last week we had even a little thunder with little rain. Yesterday we had 14C warmth and the snow is eventually almost gone. There still are some white spots and piles of dirty snow beside parking slots.
It felt so weird first when snow melted. All streets looked soooo wide. I felt amazed and was thinking, were they really so wide? I couldn't believe it. We had a lot of snow this winter, it came town in December and stayed down until to now.
But the streets are still dirty. Some of the sand that was used in winter against slippery is still there and a lot of dogs waste have melted out.. I have to wait little more time, before I can bicycle.. when rain washes streets cleaner and nicer. I don't want to take bicycle to dirty streets.. :)
But I like to live here were I live. Yet sometime I would like that my neighbors would all disappear. Like when I walk my dog and then some other people are walking also own dogs by taking the same route as I do. It's so annoying. Why they have to take same route. Because of their existence I can't enjoy the whole street all alone by my self! :)
