In December last year I wrote about winter in Bangladesh. Although the winter season lasts for just a couple of months, this year it has an adverse effect on the lives of the poor people. Still the cold wave might revive and send shiver down their spines as another half a month remaing before the cold officially subsides. Till then the rural people are still in danger.Hopefully the sun has been shining quite brillantly over the past few weeks and the fog has been dispersed to a large extent. The falling of morning dews have also been reduced to a great extent. Just a fortnight ago when the Idea-Cup Cricket matches were going on in Dhaka and Chittagong, the dew factors played a vital role in shaping the games because the team winning the toss could take the matches in their favour.Well, the good news for us is that if we can survive one more cold wave coming from the Himalyan and Siberian region, we can at least reach the spring which is the best season in our country. We are eagerly waiting for the spring to set in as we are totally shattered and battered by the ravaging cold. What we have to do now is to endure the last bite of winter which is in the offing. After all, if winter comes, can spring be far behind ?
your article on spring, gives a n infomative and reflexive view of your country Bangladesh, and the people ,
its sad to hear , and feel the sufferings of the poor ,and the destitute,i wonder how the governments are progressing in eradicating their plight??
over here in my country Srilanka alhandhulillah
we do not have harsh winter, but due to man made disasters
the poor masses suffer at the end through floods
during the rainy season
have a nice day
