How we all feel about our mother? Most of us, excluding some exceptions become nostalgic when we think of our mother.Everyone thinks of their mom as sweet, loving, caring lady with a positive charm that keeps our heart warm all the time. Her warm & kind embrace, love & support has always created a positive inspirations throughout our life. That's why the word "mother" has been always special to human kind and as a good being we respect, love and keep them alive inside our memories till we remain in the world.
Recently, I had to travel back to my village for some urgent works that needed to be settled quickly. So i got my bus ticket and left for my village. After few hours of travel the bus stopped in a road side hotel for lunch. All the passengers went to the hotel for lunch. As soon as I finished my lunch, I immediately got back to my seat because I was in rush mood. While staring out of the window from the seat, I saw a small kid nearly 5-6 years of age playing in the mud & dirt by the road side. Seeing his rugged shirt and torn pants I guessed he was from poor background.Soon his mother saw him and he got some scolding and beating from her.The boy started crying by banging his legs on ground, while his mother went back to work nearby.
Meanwhile, our bus driver started the engine and blew horn to call all the passengers. While all the passengers were coming, I noticed a wealthy lady came to seat just in-front of me.She shouted at her tentatively 10- 11 year old kid to hurry, who was buying something at street-food cart nearby. He came in happily with food in hand to bus in his seat.Whereas, his mother was annoyed because of the son and yelled at him saying why did he buy such unhygienic food from dirty cart. She snatched the food and threw it out of window. Coincidentally, it reached to the previous lady who was working nearby. The bus was moving slowly, as I turned back to see I saw the poor mother picked up the food, cleaned with her shawl, and gave it to her crying child on the floor. The kid was very happy and jumping with food in hand, while his mother had faint smile on her face. And in the bus the kid was sad with teary eyes while his mother was staring at him with annoyed face.
Seeing this incident lot of "Whys?" came to mind and I was speechless there.
To all Mothers: Mothers will always be mothers, no matter how hard or easy the situation is with their never-ending love.
P.S : Experts & friends correct me.I would be more happy.
Comments
@Blessing:- Yeah. you are right blessing. Thanks for the corrections. I really appreciate that..It would be more better if i could use the words as you mentioned.. Anyways.. I am very much happy with your efforts. Next time i will be more careful about the words. THANKS A LOTTTTT.
@Indila: thanks for your sweet comment.
@ Pixary: "How are we all reminded of our mother". I don't know either you are right. But I mean to say how we remember of our mother not remembered by mother.. I don't know I did use right sentence or not. But i will not choose your suggested line for sure. And I really appreciate you comments.
@Luci: Thanks for your comments.
Your story is really great, I like the paradox of it. On one hand there is a poor mom who has no money and on the other hand there is a mom throwing meal from window. I think that no matter how angry they both were at the moment you saw them, I think they both love their kids and want the best for them. It is just not so easy to handle everything because mom's job is the most difficult one in the world.
I like your observation.
And this is my observation: I think something is wrong with the way you use the word "remind". We remind someone, we are reminded by someone.
So I think your first sentence should be "How are we all reminded of our mother"
Hehe, correct me if I'm wrong :D
@ Anele: Thanks for inspiring comments. I appreciate that.
But as you have said there is still long way to go..........
Mothers know best! Maybe you were thinking which of the two mothers did her best! You maybe shock to know that both mothers have the same way of expressing their best in their own way.
You are a keen observer! People in their busyness seldom stop by and observe the way of life that others execute.
You have a very good command of English. Keep on blogging, Reeyaz! Way to go!
Very nice and heart-touching description of the situation....
Yes some human emotions are so strong make the on looker speechless!
