Speaking English as an intermediate user

Imagine knowing some English, and you’ve planned a trip, but you find yourself in a situation that was unexpected while traveling in an English speaking country, and you are not sure how to handle this situation: for example, losing some personal belongings or important documents, or any other unexpected event. You have come to the right place! It is my passion and joy to guide you in your English learning journey, every step of the way! I would love to help you reach your goals no matter what they are!

I have designed a B1 intermediate English course, called Words in Bloom English. My classes are live and are structured to encourage active participation, allowing you build your confidence, especially in English speaking, and yet, to simply be yourself and have fun! I provide real-life scenarios and engaging exercises and quizzes that will help you enhance your grammar, reading, speaking, and listening skills; this is where you can practice and apply your newfound knowledge! You will experience a number of benefits when you take my B1 course and future B1 courses: You will be able to connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe experiences and events, my dreams, hopes and ambitions. You’ll also be able to briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. You would also be able to simply retell a story or relate the plot of a book or film and describe your reactions.

You will be able to enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events). You’ll be able to understand texts that consist mainly of high frequency everyday or job-related language. You will also understand the description of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters. You will be able to understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. You will come to understand the main point of many radio or TV programs on current affairs, or topics of personal or professional interest when the speech is relatively slow and clear.

You will also be able to deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken, write simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. You would also be able to write personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
