Hi guys,
I want to learn your ideas and suggestions about speaking english as a native speaker. Please let your hands to explain the methods if you have/had in accent reduction studies. Sometimes I'm surprised by the way some people sing or speak in english. That's to say how they are closed to a native speaker's accent. I do believe that singing in english should be more difficult than speaking. In all, that have been one of my favourite topics related to English Language Skills. What are your ideas?

Thanks. I'll take account of your suggestions. Your ideas will lead me on this way without doubt.
Mehmet, I think that singing can be easier to learn than trying to learn a passage that is not sung. The guys who were closest in sound to native speakers in Saudi Arabia were people who either studied a lot of movies or were sent to a language school in America. I could often telll the parts of the US they had stayed in because they picked up those local accents.
When we hear other people talk (in person or in a movie) we adjust our voice to sound like theirs without thinking. That is how babies sound like their family and other people of their regions. Listening is the key as Expector said.
Thanks a lot. I've looked up your suggestions and found them all useful.
To the Americans, even Brits or Australians speak English with an accent.
To me, listening is the most important skill. If you can understand what the native English speakers are talking about, then you can communicate with them - they wouldn't mind you speaking English with an accent.
