1. The following story was told us true. What's wrong with her?
A few months ago, a man fell asleep during a sermon, dreaming of the Boxer Rebellion in China. In the dream, he was captured and led to the scaffold.
In the meantime, his wife noticed that he had dozed off. The moment the man dreamed that the executioner's ax was falling on his head, his wife slapped his neck with a fan to wake him up. The shock killed the man on the spot.
What's wrong with this story?

4. A young woman lived in a posh hotel. One evening someone knocked on the door and even before she could shout "Come in!" A strange man entered her room. When he saw the young woman, he started back and said: "Oh, excuse me, I was wrong in the door. My room is right next door. "Then he left. The young woman thought for a moment, remembering the fact that there was a thief in the hotel, and asked the hotel detective to come to her. After telling him the story, he agreed with her. He went to the lobby and arrested the man.

Here are the correct answers until now
Roman has given the correct answers to:
1. The man had died. So, nobody was able to ask him, what he had dreamed.
2. There are 9 clocks (watches) on the shelf
3. She was able to see the coin because it was daytime.
Yesssssssssssss, Roman. That's the correct answer.
1. Because that man died right after getting that hit. Died without waking up. So nobody was able to ask him, what he saw in his dream.
4. He forgot to remove/change his working clothes. The uniform of that hotel. That's why later young woman understood, that he can't live in a room next door.

Roman, in the riddle with the number 4, I could have said for "malpractice" also "what was his mistake"
Hi Roman. Your answer to
3. is correct. It was day time.
1. Your answer... or better to say your question "How did the teller of that story know, what had been that man dreaming about?" is almost right. You must just find out WHY the teller couldn't know what the man was dreaming about.
For your consideration: the tools with he was beaten don't play a role.
And one more thing about that 4.
I didn't know the meaning of the word "malpractice". So I checked its meaning at Cambridge Dictionary. And it literally means the one, who works and does/causing/allow something illegal while doing his/her job.
I second you, Roman. That’s what I was thinking.. maybe he was at the reception. :P
Thank you, Warda! :)
Ah, I think, I got it.
That strange man had been working there on reception. That's why he had the keys of any room. He knocked the door. He didn't hear any reply from behind that door and thought, that there were no visitors inside that room at that moment. Then he opened the door and entered inside. Woman was little bit shocked for the first moment. But in some seconds, maybe 1 minute she understood everything and called hotel security.
