Some glimpses of our China tour.

During our China visit, of course, we had some fun and tension along with our busy schedule. Here they are.

1. On the flight from Dhaka to Guangzhou we passed through a storm. I always get tension during air journey. So, you may understand how I felt. I just hold the front chair and remembering the name of the Almighty. But, some people had no tension at all. They were about to go to WC and got rebuked from the air hostess. And, on the other hand, I was dying in my deep down...lol

2. For the first time we took a bus journey without fare. As we had no change. But, honestly I was being worried! And, later I always kept some change.

3. In a market, I asked the price of a scarf to a sales girl. She demanded 70 yuan. I told I would like to give 15 yuan. She became angry and I just freaked out!

4. One day With great enthusiasm I took a spoon full of ' sweet and sour' soup. But, you know what I did! Later I heard it was for the people who were on diet.

5. Our hosts were talking about the traffic of Beijing and Shanghai. we were laughing and told if they could get chance to be stuck in the traffic of Dhaka. Then they could understand what traffic is!

6.They say Bangladesh as 'Manjala". what does it mean?

7. We took part in ' Nawraj' over there. " Nawraj' is Afgani new year. They served 7 kinds of food and performed their traditional dance.

8. It happened in the latter part of our journey. Around 12.30 a.m. we reached in Guangzhou airport. There was someone to receive us. He showed us a bus outside the airport. We hurriedly got into. But after a while he told it was not for us. Again we hurriedly got off and waited for a while and then got into another bus. We were laughing but it was hard to bear.

9. One day I made a phone call to the front desk to send a person to fix my AC. As temperature was going up. The electrician came, told me something and switched off. I became speechless. Next morning I heard, temperature went up due to hot spring water so he just switched it off.

10. In our first day of Suzu, we went to have dinner in a nearby restaurant. There we were served raw fish and meat. We all screamed out loudly. Though later we learned how to cook. And, we enjoyed that food and wanted to go again next day.

  • Donnobad Afro. Mentioning the salmon fish, my saliva covered my lips and my collar was wet.

  • Yes, there were chicken, salmon fish and beans with rice! But I liked next day meal which was salmon fish, beans with rice.

  • Valo achi tum Afro? I really like the Chinese food. Mangala, according to my friend, Lee, he said that it means the streets of God. He could have meant the way the almighty wants us to follow. that dish over there looks like a mix of fish and beans, doesn't it?
