Zahra, I totally agree with you. I feel the same, animals are always our victims. We break their lives and make them prisioners just because we want them to 'entertain' us: Circuses with animals' shows, Zoos, Wild Animal's Parks, Elephant's rides, Bullfightings... It's a shame. But we can stop this very easily: if there is not demand, there is not supply. I hope one day we'll finally stop demanding all these selfish 'entertainments'.
Thank you so much for dropping by and sharing your comment Zahra. I really appreciate it.
Hmm! What should I say? Intruding the life of animals for the joy of mankind!
PS-
Oh! I didn't know about the accident at the zoo in the US that ended in a gorilla's death. I am so sorry that we keep animals in zoos. I think we human beings do not have the right to keep animals for the sake of ourselves. It's better that we let creatures on the earth alone. The only thing we can do for them is emptying their homes. We are excessively ruining their natural habitats.
I am really depressed and sorry! Why an innocent animal is killed because of an ignorant mom?
LUCI! If i had 'lil kittens' I'd turn them into psychopaths haha. Thanks for your comment! :)
Estanis, thank you so much! I was too lazy to explain myself :D Right after seeing this image came to my mind this shameful incident in the Cincinnati Zoo. But I also wanted to deliver a more generalized message and that's why I made it short and simple :)
I'm happy to know that you question yourself the existence of the Zoo. The reality is that Zoo keeps wild animals in cages for public exhibition and commercial purposes. Wild animals will NEVER be happy in captivity but, one more time, human selfishness prevails.
Now I feel like I want to write a very incendiary blog about it. If i do that, I'll put the blame on you! :D
Hey Samouel(+i)! Yeap, you're right. Thanks for dropping by :)
Rajib, I'm glad you liked, thanks for your comment.
My sweet Eva! ^_^ As I said to Estanis, this picture brought to my mind that incident, but I wanted to deliver a more generalized message. For me, Nature/Natural World has all the answers we need to know. It's like an old wise granny whom we owe all our respect... I don't know about other people, but I couldn't even think about having a lack of respect for an old wise granny! :) That's how i see it, at least.
I hate to see wild animals in captivity because that's not their life. We break their soul and nature just because of the human selfishness and whim. It's really sad. I agree with you, when you look into gorillas' eyes, you can see that and I could go further: If you're an empathic person, when you look for some seconds into the eyes of a wild animal in a cage, I'm sure you'll feel its sadness. You'll feel that's not its place. Because wild animals will never be happy in a cage.
Thanks for your always interesting comment Eva.
Hurieh, I'm glad reading you :) It's interesting to notice that, while the gorilla mom is keeping an eye on the lil gorilla and stopping a bad behavior when she considers is necessary, the mom or dad of this lil kid is just recording something he/she thinks it's 'cute'. In my opinion, the parents of the kid had a very good opportunity to stop recording and teach their kid a good lesson in values: Respect for animals.
Thanks for your nice comment.
Thanks for dropping by Shaila!
Dear Adaline! I'm glad you liked :) Thanks for your comment.
Unfortunately,we can do it only ifwe are able to give our brain a break because we see ourselves so greats and smarts !and trying to listen to our guts..
Mary, If you don't mind I'll take the trouble to explain superficially the root of your words for those who don't know the story :)
Few days ago, a little child inexplicably felt down into the gorillas place in a zoo of a city in The States. In the recorded images we can see the great gorilla taking the boy and (in my opinion) taking care of him. The problem comes when it drags him for some metres and the histerical observers think the boy can die. Authorities didnt doubt to kill the animal.
There's a debate now there about if authorities did it right but my own debate is if Zoos should exist nowadays.
