Another northeast monsoon has just arrived. This morning while I was getting dressed for work, I found an almost brand new jean that I had bought roughly 6 years ago. It was a very modern style skinny jean with some pretty embroidery patterns on its back pocket. And it was expensive, of course, I loved it right after I saw it in a small shop, let’s say it’s the love at first sight. Somehow it was quite loose for me from the very beginning, didn’t really fit me well and not as tight as I wanted . At that time I assumed that I would practice exerices every day and eat more with the hope that one day I could wear it nicely.
6 years flies so fast and I havent gained any more weight since then. Morning exercices and evening walks make me fit and fine but I even have been getting slender than I was before. And the stylish jean is always there hanging in my wardrope only. Each winter I opened it and saw it or tried to put it on for a while then put it away and hoped for the better for the next season but as you see the situation still stays the same till now. Today I’ ve just realize that I wasted too much of time for this. I wondered why shouldn’t I buy the one which fits me well from the first day, I could have worn it for 6 years, not just saw it with some ray of hope and regret.
Now I have 2 choices left, one is to give it to another person who will make the most of it or second is to fix it in order to fit well my body.
Or should I keep hanging it somewhere else to watch it occasionally to remind me of such useless stuffs : D
Do you do the right thing at first?

A coin has two sides, being human can be strong and weak. I still remember there is a friend said to me " Do you think I will leave you alone because of you have done this mistake?, Never!" All of her words made me strong and need to fight. I cannot be a strong woman if I didn't get any encouragement from my friends.
Peace , lol i know you always have good solutions for our problems, what a strong girl. However if I ever change, its foremost for myself not for anyone else. It is when I realize I need to do that for my own good...
Dara, yes it is still there...
Mishaikh, I will do it this winter, thank you
It would be better if you alter your favourite jean and wear it. This would give you pleasure rather seeing it hanging in the closet.
Cam April! Where are you? I cannot see you online, these days. Is that jean still there?
This is just a thing that if you are not appreciated any more, you should give it to someone. It's easy to decide. If comparing with our life, if this one is the person you love, just change yourself for him. But, if you don't like, just let him go to the way he wants. Its useless to keep a pain beside you. I believe you can do it.
Lol Estanis what a nice idea. You never cease to surprise me with your solutions to all troubles... I'd love them dear :D
I use to buy my clothes one size bigger because my wife tends to shrink them in the dryer, don't ask me how. So you can send your jeans to me, I promise they will fit you perfectly later :D
Anyway I have some jeans and trousers lost in my wardrobe that I bought years ago and I can't wear neither (but this time is not because of the dryer :/ So we have same problem with opposite interpretation.
Btw, I love trivial stuff in daily life blogs ;)
Mishaikh, "small" here doesnt mean "short" only, but this is not a big thing at all, just trivial stuff in daily life. Thanks for your suggestion anyway.
Dara, ELF and Lady Anne, thanks for reading and your nice pieces of advice.
If I were you, I would bring it to the tailor and have it fixed for me.
6 years... omg. You have made your jeans wait for you that long. At least, your jeans' consolation is that it still looks new and hasn't faded yet.
If you wear it now, it would not look as if you left it inside your wardrobe for 6 years. It will look like a newly bought jeans since nobody has used it. Don't waste time and money this time, April.
good story and memorable.. but we should buy those thing which we can use at that time...
