Yes, once again, I came up with the same title. Please, don't tilt your face down, otherwise I will deface it. Opps, sorry for being rude, dude! I am not so crude, you know. Anyway, I just wanted to tell that it's a very effective way to learn new words and to remember them.
In our life, many things could be happened. We could be happy or sad. But, whatever we are we have many reminiscences, many memories on the crooks of our lifetime.
It was a summer-evening. Julia was passing by a brook holding a nice book. Her little niece was with her. They were chatting and having fun. Time passed away. Then, they heard the bell tolled (base is toll), it was almost dark!
They hurriedly heeded towards their home. But, on the way back they had to pay toll/ tole in a toll-gate. Julia's mom was standing in the lawn. When they entered into, she just gave a look.
Then her mother told that last night she saw a man with a crooked-back. He was coming from the back side of their house. And, as She was not in a mood to brook any interference. so, she croaked out!
Definitely, cook and crook are totally different. You can cook for me. But, I hope, you would not crook anything from my place! Anyway, I have crooked back with back pain, have any suggestion?
P.S. tell- bell- hell
toll/tole-told
book-brook/brooklet- crook-hook-look
