SILENT LOVE

Silent Love:

Once again I was drowning in my thoughts. Why can’t I just let bygones be bygones? It was rightly said that when one sets aside life’s shattered pieces, movement forward continues without further injury. Fear gives way to courage, courage to face the unknown. After every dark night, a fresh new morning greets us. I was about to get upset all over again, when I saw her face.

“Oh, you have come again”, I said. “Yes”, she answers while she gently caresses my forehead with her soft hands.

“How much you make me wait, only to leave me again”, I accuse her with a trembling voice. I stare at her, trying to remember every detail. She will leave me soon. I don’t want to forget her loveliness, like the moon on a clear, dark night.

“I will not leave you. You are my earnest desire. You are the ever burning candle in my dark, lonely life.”

“You have declared your desire before yet you always leave,” I counter, the words slipping out; hating that I could not keep my emotions under control.

“You know I have been waiting for you all of my life. You are my wish. You are the beautiful dream that entangles me, leaves me helpless.”

She looks at me, her face awash with happiness. “The dream has just begun. My life, your life, and our lives together…..”

“Who are you and what is your name”, I ask pleadingly.

“I am reality”, she begins to say “I am life. I am…”

Before she could continue, I am suddenly awakened. I look all around me. I am aware of her fragrance permeating the room. The woman of my dreams is so close. How foolish was I not to notice her love all around me, inside me; her silent love always expressing itself. So this silent love,  is real love.

  • Thanks for your comments tranquility

  • It may be a dream Almira, but the love do exists around us, we need senses to sense it.

  • No, this is not the case of my liking and disliking.  It is the case that how much you elaborate the view point.  Besides a commentator has full right to express his/her view point.

You have gone too philosophical, creating a new term "deaf love" , There is no such term I have known yet in any literature, except in "satire'.  So far as 'Silent love" is concern, it is very much found in literature, especially ours.  "Khamoosh mohabbat".

So please do not consider as I do not like your comments.  No, on the contrary, it provided me a lot opportunity of discussion.  So keep it up.

Now come to your another term, "volume" I have got the bottom line, but let me dare to say that a common reader would find it difficult to understand.

    Good luck.

  • Thanks Smile for your attention.

    Thanks for understanding.

I love your comments.  That's exactly I wanted to say.  Thanks.

  • Salam Mishaikh,

Very nice blog, I love it.

Well, everybody may have a different perception of this blog; anyway my perception is that a person may search for love in another person's heart, but one day he/she wakes up and find love inside his/her heart. That's real love.

  •  can it hear or what do you say about deaf love is also real or fake?

You are wise enough, let us have your elaboration on it.

I know one thing, love.........if it is real..............can hear unspoken words.

Doesn't Allah hears your silent prays? Isn't it love?

  •           Dear Mishaikh,

I   liked  your  blogspot  and most  of   all   the   nice  choice  of  the  words  that present  the  theme  of  reality  as  it  is.
