It is not long essay, it seems like that because of large letters, really!. ;D Hope you will tell me your opinions and perceptions on it!

I like to give to things shape. I like to understand the things that surround me. I love it when I know how my body works. I love watching how people live around me. I like simple things and I also like the complex.

Parkour ("Parkour is a training method that allows us to overcome obstacles in the urban and natural terrain." - David Belle) is one of the few disciplines, when it is neither to overcome others nor break records, but to overcome himself. His fear and do the seemingly impossible. The advantage is that one is always measured only with himself. And so when he gets there where body has never been, he doesn't hesitate, because so decision does every day. Thus we, as traceurs*, are affected even in everyday life. Like so parkour is unique and makes people around the world happy and strong. It is very close to the philosophy of life and the meaning of life. And along this it led me to these thoughts.

Life (parkour largely) taught me that there is no boundary. The only boundaries that exist are the people themselves. We ourselves. When people believe that something is possible then it becomes a real possibility.
Many of people today are trying to reach the end of road and don't understand that the end of path they define themselves. And when they determine it, then the people have it for final destination of their life.

And what if your goal is bigger than just it, what if it is unachievable and yet you've come too far than you could abandon the fact that the option is there?
In my opinion, nothing is unreachable. As I said at the beginning, people have no boundaries, but few of them realize it. The ideas that people have, doing them liberal in what they do. And people who have high goals are strongest in what they do. I often say that for athletes aim to win the Olympic Games are still quite a few and they would want more. Something that will bring them joy.

At a TedX lecture was a millionaire who throughout life have built an empire and when he became so rich that he could afford anything he wanted, he found out his life was boring, and his meaning of life, which was to get rich and like that to achieve happiness, was mistaken and whole life he made unnecessary thing - just gathered wealth which he did not know how to utilize. And as old man began to really live. The typical example of when someone over the years doesn't ponder (consider) what he has done.

Dan Millman, in the book The Peaceful Warrior says "It is way, way brings us happiness, not destination.", in my opinion he means an approach to life when the one enjoys every moment as fully aware that it is directed to its destination and he follows it what he freely chose and then at the end it is nothing more than the end. And no how most people mistakenly believe that there is just beggining. People doing primary, secondary school and collage, then getting into lucrative work, and then have a family. Half life so runs away, and certain people in hustle and bustle never give a thought on their life goals. They forget why they studied. Beautifully about this topic talking video by Professor Alan Watts called "Narrated".

The meaning of life thus I perceive as a condition where a person realizes his lifelong goals and trying to achieve them.

If you want to be the best in the world... please! But I warn you that you will never be best if this is your final destination. There are the people on Earth who do things and they live their lives for loftier goals than just being momentarily celebrated. In addition, hardly you will be happy if you can not share your love with others.

Daniel Ilabaca does parkour because he hopes that will change people's lives. It is giant goal. Unreachable, and yet at hand. If you have a goal like him you will never have fear even you will not hesitate. Just you will know as well as me that this is correct (for me) and this is not. It is not compatible with my goals. In one video he talks about right way, and I think he talks about his own free choice of the meaning of his life. He even came to the conclusion that our thoughts affect our physical selves. It again confirms my idea that the one is not limited. Especially children who are not tied expectations and cut by education.

"Thinking you’re going to fail at something gives you a higher risk of doing just that. Committing to something you’re thinking or knowing you will land gives you a higher chance of landing or completing the task." (source) alias the goal that you have set will become a real and true one.

I see many people around me who look for the meaning of life, and yet not ask a basic thought of what they will do with the time that was given to them.

People are often embittered and pessimistic. Because it is easier to be such what you feel and to spoil mood to others than through problem to transfer himself and change it. It's hard to find in the worst thing in the world the good side, and everyone is entitled to waver and get lost. But we should rejoice with the little things, otherwise we will never be satisfied with what we do, otherwise we will never be truly happy.

People try to please others, instead of to please themselves and were happy with themselves. It will save you time and worries when you accept the fact that happiness does not help when a hundred or million people will say that you are wonderful. You have to feel so alone, otherwise it's just a illusion. You must feel you enjoy your life.

I am not telling anyone how right to live, not to say that there is something good and something bad, because it's not so. But everyone wants to be happy and I think that is one of few points of our mental life that we all want equally to fill. And I believe that everyone who is not happy would think about it why, and where he heads. Not just to hope it will improve itself and wait.

People often see their mistakes on others and they hate those that do not have them. Learning from such people is difficult. But it's worth it. Learning to love them and learn from them. Oftentimes I see how people compare each other, and when they come to view they are worse so they are unhappy, but they should be happy to have so much of what they can learn.

I think it is finally need to make people aware that training and experience do not lead to results but only for understanding and self-knowledge. That you can do some technique or mastering the life situation does not stem from the number of repetitions, but from that to think about and understand it. You will understand yourselves.

Because everybody has different perceptions about life I wonder what is yours, let's discuss!

"you will reach your destiny on the time when it comes..."

  • Darius, thank you. I am glad you like it, but, I think, Pope IV said that the purpose of life is equal to love which we presentes. And it is adequate too. :) Yet I believe your five days - to be, be alive, be human, be a real human, be a lover - is also exact. :)

Miracle, I agree. My perception about life is changing each one second, if I may exaggerate. :D We meet new people, new places, new experiences and it teaches and shows us another perspectives about life. Even personality changes many times throughout life. I always ask where it will end up and when. But it is only rhetorical question, of course.

Roni :D When I am thinking about it again, you are right indeed. Perhaps he thought to be rich will bring him happiness, we can just polemizate though... Anyway, keep sharing, and thanks. :)

Yousra, I like that point of changing. Sometimes is good to let things go to let us grow up, to mature :) And I would call a mistake something like what helps us to realize what is important in our life, but what word can desribe it, a heavy caret in life? :D

Behgosh, WOW. Your comment with bubbles pleased me, I truly love your imagination, haha :D and I noticed you steal my thoughts too, watta common habit we have, dear :P

Vimal/Traveler, as I was told, you have already expectations, you wait for my response (and here we go! :D) ehm, to have big goal, the only one which defines our end of life, it could be wrong by me. Isn't it better to divide goal on a few smaller goals and like that to have full attention to focus on each of them? :) I don't know. I like you got me, Vimal. Guess why. We have different approach, different angle of viewpoint, there are a lot of ways of how to reach the destination. I appreciate your sentences the most. Because it is so. Like I wrote it to Darius. Even Pope's opinion on life is adequate. It can be also right. :) Thanks!

Mr. Bob, sure. It helped me in thinking a lot. Many people say it radically changed their lives. And I am a proof. :D BUT it also depends on attitude of each person... ;)

Luci, it is super you realised it. :) To be honest, my goals has changed many times. And even today it is hard to keep it. Once my determination was to make people happy just I can share with them my joyful personality and make detachment above life and not to be blind. As time goes, I really reached it, and trying to keep it up. But my goal is also to cure animals, as I said in my essay, I like research about body, how it works to the depth :D and you know, I am already studying veterinary, sometimes I behave like a vet, so. I live my goal to reach my goal :D

Hope, friends, you all didn't wait for my responses long time :-* Plus I thank you again for reading of such a large philosophicaly-practical babbling :)

  • Wow !

This is one of the best blogs I have read. Full of nice words and practical ideas . I think I have read it again and again . Thank you daniela for sharing such a nice blog . :)

maybe because his goal was to be rich only.

when he reached  the goal, he just happy for a moment.

luckily, my goal is to share something that i have to some people.

as long as i share it, i'll be happy, no matter how long is my life.

btw, i like the way you explain the traceusers in the end of your article. cheers..

  • I know only one thing about this life: "Smile and the whole world will be smiling with you, cry and you`ll cry alone" ;) Live your lifes, not others ;)

  • Nice blog. I will say that, you are right but my perception on boundaries is little different. Even fully accepting that human beings can achieve anything, I personally believe that we need to define our goals in a broad frame work, with a time line and must be having an accurate target. It should be well planned with strategies be formed taking practical subtle difficulties in mind.

On the idea of life with a purpose we both lie on the same side of the fence.

I know once we will achieve the goal (cross the boundary), life will look stagnant. But here we need to define the next goal (next boundary) and get ready for it after all if life is a journey then these boundaries are the foot steps of a successful journey. After all the word "limitless" is made of integration of a lot of limits with in a long span of time.

The irony is that we both are intending to reach on the same conclusion but our approach is different. Looking same things from different angles and explaining them from our own point of view. But as thoughts govern our actions we are, and there can be different way to reach the same location.

  • Daniela,

I hadn't thought much about parkour, I heard of it in French but didn't really understand it. Now your interesting blog will get me reading about it some more and how this can be applied to thinking about life in general.

    Thanks for the wonderful blog.

  • Dani, could you share your goals? I just miss it there :p I agree that some people just survive instead of living and I was thinking about this issue some years ago too and decided to add some hobbies, activities which make my life more colorful. We get older and our goals get changed, we should compromize and should be able to determine our priorities, to make our life cool and crazy instead of grey boredom, which we would regret one day. To regret when it is too late won't help anybody and we have just one life to live so let's not waste it!! Thanx for such psychological blog ;-)
  • I need some time to consolidate my ideas on it.
