I wrote this actually a few weeks ago, but I couldn't manage uploading it.
Recently, I was thinking about being involved again in MyEC. But then I, we all, received a bittersweet news from MyEC team that they will officially close MyEnglishClub.com on 30th September 2026. I'm sure this has gone through a lot of consideration.
Let me say abundant of thanks to Mr.Josef for creating this great virtual place. MyEC is one memorable virtual place with great various people I had met. I learned English, I learned cultures in various countries directly from its people, and I learned many other things. There were challenges, quizzes, parties, friendship, also hostility. Of course there were also spams... But, to be honest, I enjoyed everything.
I ensure you that there is no hatred I kept in my heart. I'm happy to know you all. I'm happy to have experience with you. Many of you that I can't mention here one by one. You are the best. Thank you very much to teachers and friends. I appreciate everything. If only, we meet again somewhere else, I'm sure...everything is not the same.
My apology for being absent so long. I was so excited being a volunteer that being most active here. However, it's not easy for me now. Being a wife and a mother of a toddler, I have enough tasks to do besides having a break/rest and taking care of myself.
One more thing, I guess we have precious posts here. Blogs, photos, discussions, and groups. There may be full of grammar lessons, interesting games, great discussions, and awesome writings. I, myself, to be honest, now wonder how I could write so many.... It seems that I should keep them all somewhere. What about you?
Once again, thanks to Mr. Josef, for entrusting me as a moderator. Thanks to all my friends, for supporting me in doing everything here.
I will never say this is a farewell.... So, see you all.... :)

World is not staying still. People with same interest maybe still run to someone they encoutered here somewhere, by surprise. World is big, but not that big.
Wheter world is changing, because people, are changing, or is it that people are forced to change, because world is changing..? It can be both.
I remember when the myec was first born. I said something like it's bad. Socialmedia is bad because it causes brainrot.. or maybe I used word brainsoftening or something.. Probably my brain really did rot away, and that's why I did not visit the site too much anymore and now they have to shut it down in order not to let socialmedia destroy any more brains. :P

Oh my God. (Smiling..) Well yes, mostly that is social media. However, it depends on ourselves. And, I don't think MyEC is the same. It's totally different, it gives me knowledge and more self-confidence in real life.
You are free to decide, but you were finally also one of most active member. It's great to know you.

To be honest, when I was sending private message to many....I clicked the name one by one, saw them on the friends list... That time I smiled myself 'recalling' the memories I experienced with everyone.
Those two words fits for this time. Can these two words replace each other? (My curiosity always kicks in) :)
