I questioned a wise man why Allah asked Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail (peace be upon him). He replied that Allah just wanted to see and show the nations to come later how much Ibrahim loved His Lord. He proved his love for Allah by preferring His order to everything including his beloved son. Allah already knew how much Ibrahim loved Him, but by putting such condition, He the Almighty wanted to reveal it on everyone. If there was no such condition in love, every by-passer, who is influenced by your beauty or anything for awhile, could claim love. It's, therefore, said that when you claim love for Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him), get yourself ready to face stern trials so that the true and false lover may be distinguished. The wise claim themselves servant of Allah the Almighty and His Prophet (peace be upon him) rather than lovers. On the eve of Eid Ul Adha, we inculcate the lesson of sacrifice as to how it helps to build up a strong relation with a person you love most. The life is full of sacrifices for the loving one. There are many forms of sacrifices such as times, addictions, money, jobs, etc. Hence, on this occasion, I pray to Allah the Almighty that all our sacrifices, we've made for seeking His pleasure, may be accepted. Ameen!
Ameen!!!! What a nice topic!!! Really it is very nice, in so much I read it twice. My friend, sacrifice is a word which it is very light as a word, but it is very heavy as an action. I think, sacrifice is the best rule among others which control our life to be more beautiful. It is good to volunteer our time or our money or our effort to others without any return, just for God's sake. With real sacrifice love, happiness, generosity and unselfishness will be spread among people instead of hatred, misery, avarice and selfishness. God bless you my friend.
Allah the Almighty never puts extra burden on His believers in trial but as per their capacity. The Prophet (peace be upon them) set the highest level of obedience and patience which can be achieved by believers subject to the blessing of Allah the Almighty. The event of Karbala is one of the examples. How stern trial was endured by the grand son of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleases with him) was not a prophet. Thank you so much for your comment.
Bahut shukriya Arif! I meant by the immunity that they can bear the trial or the ordeal to give us the example to follow. We are not in disagreement Mr. Saeed. Remember the story of Prophet Yousif (peace be upon him). The woman desired him and he might have inclined to her unless Allah had shown him the proof or the evidence to the correct and the decent way for sex. As you said, they give us an example to follow. Imagine me or you in that situation. A woman, the husband of the governor, with all her beauty, power and seduction. Imagine us, we are human, we are weaker than them. We do not disagree my good friend. The Prophets are in an upper level than us and I guess, you are aware of that. They give us difficult and hard examples or trials to follow.
I don't agree with you that prophets (peace be upon him) immunity. All the Prophet (peace be upon him) underwent their respective trials to form examples of obedience and patience by their actions. For more details, please consult with your local scholars. There is nothing to laugh for.
Dear Brother! love is the name of sacrifice, as you said there are many forms of sacrifices.
we sacrifices the animal on Eid ul-Adha, we have to look after them minimum six months, and then sacrifice of an animal in the name of Allah on the day of Eid ul Adha.

Isli main bola, ikhtilaf nahi hain. The true believers follow them like Imam Hussien (may Allah be pleased with him).
