Friends ,

You Know Sleeping Pattern can reveal your personality .

The position in which you sleep at night, whether it's all curled up in a fetal position or sprawled out across the bed - reveals your personality, Reuters reports of new research from Britain's Sleep Assessment and Advisory Service.

Led by Chris Idzikowski, the team has identified six common sleep positions and the personalities of the people who sleep that way. "We are all aware of our body language when we are awake, but this is the first time we have been able to see what our subconscious says about us,".

The six basic sleeping positions and the personality traits:

1)Sleep Position No. 1: Crouched in the fetal position.

Personality: Foetal sleepers are an anxious lot. They tend to overanalyse everything and are great ‘worriers’. Surprisingly, research says that the foetal position is the most common sleeping position. This position is very soothing and comforting and you tend to sleep like this when you are undergoing a lot of stress. Every person at some point of his or her life has slept in this position.

People who sleep in the fetal position   ********  Long for security, intimacy and joy.                  Take relationships slowly.                  Tend to look at the world in rosy colors, and treat people kindly.                  Are sensitive, though they may present a tough exterior to the world.                  May appear shy at times or when meeting people for the first time.Note: This is the most popular sleeping position, and it is adopted by                  more women than men.

Sleep Position No. 2: Soldier position flat on the back with arms at the sides.

Personality: Soldier sleepers are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like to make a big deal out of things, and they set very high standards for themselves and others.

Health Benefit: Research shows that sleeping on your back may lead to snoring, difficulty breathing, and an overall bad night's sleep. Is your snoring keeping someone awake at night? Try flipping over -- you'll both wake up more refreshed.

********    Are quiet and reserved.                   Set high standards for themselves.                   Are preoccupied with their physical appearance.                  Like to be at the center of attention.                  Are open to new experiences.

Sleep Position No. 3: On the side with legs outstretched and arms down.

Position: It is considered to be the second most common sleeping position. The sleeper in this position keeps their body stretched out in a straight line.

Personality: Log sleepers are social, easygoing people. The downside: their tendency to trust anyone -- including complete strangers -- makes them easy to fool.

Health Benefit: This position keeps the spine straight, which should be beneficial for those who suffer from back pain.

********   Try to get the most out of life but don't go to extremes just  to "get ahead".                   Are calm and rational.                   Are giving and kind and make great friends.                  Are easy going and trusting. They sometimes appear to be too  trusting and naive.

Sleep Position No. 4: On the side with legs outstretched and arms outstretched.

Personality: Yearners are open to new things, but also suspicious and cynical. They take a long time to make decisions - weighing pros and cons repeatedly - but once they make a choice, they almost never change their mind or have regrets.

Health Benefit: Resting on your side can help alleviate some problems associated with acid reflux disease and sleep apnea. But if such symptoms are a common occurrence, you may need to see a specialist.

********Act with caution and are not easily deceived.                   Have difficulty making decisions.                   Are usually stubborn.                  Are not overly excitable nor are they particularly sensitive.

Sleep Position No. 5: Flat on the tummy with hands at the sides of the head.

Personality: Freefallers are often extroverted and brash people. They appear nervy, but are truly thin-skinned people who take criticism personally.

Health Benefit: Freefall -- or any position in which you're lying face down -- is good for digestion.

*******Hold strong beliefs and try to have everything done precisely  the way they want them.                   Are tense, focused, and stubborn.                   Are passionate about everything they do.                  Are outgoing and brash, they tend to shock those who know them well.                  Tend to be selfish. They are the most likely type to hog the  covers.                  Are sensitive to criticism.                  Gravitate toward comfort and cannot handle tense or dramatic situations.

Sleep Position No. 6:Lying on your back with both arms up.

Personality: Starfish sleepers are described as great listeners and thus good friends. They're always willing to offer help and generally don't like being in the limelight.

Health Benefit: Like the soldier, starfish sleepers are more likely to snore and have breathing problems while they sleep, resulting in a less refreshing night's rest.

**********Are good listeners who makes friends easily.                   Prefer not to be the center of attention.                   Offer help when needed.                  Are confident and optimistic.                  Are not particularly keen on planning or scheming.

People who sleep tied up (hands or legs crossed, body twisted etc.)Are usually experiencing stress. Are under constant pressure either to survive crises or to move forward.
