Reading Novels
For me reading novels is a great hobby .When I was 10 years old, I went to a book shop to buy some books that I could use for school. While I was reading the titles on the shelves, there was a very interesting title in the novel section called “The Riots of Senses”. I picked up the novel and looked at the content. I wanted to buy it but it was very expensive. The owner of the book shop was our neighbor so that I enhanced my relationships with his son by visiting him while he was working in the bookshop after school. During my visits, I had the chance to pick up a novel from the shelf and read. I continued doing this for months and read approximately more than 30 novels. One day while I was reading, my friend gave me a cup of water; unfortunately it spilled on the book. We quickly replaced it and left the shop very quickly. The old man became suspicious at our sudden escape, went to that place and discovered that the best and the most expensive book was almost ruined. As a result, we weren’t allowed to get into the shop anymore. My hobby was discontinued and I was really disappointed and sitting in the corner of the living room thinking deeply about what had happened. My big brother, who was recently employed in another city, usually visited on weekends. He approached me and asked: “What is wrong with you little brother?” I told him the story, and he felt sorry for me and promised that he would buy me a novel each weekend. So, I was excited that I could not only get a novel to read but also that the book would become mine forever. Moreover, I thought I would be rich with novels as weeks, months, years added up. Finally, I collected my novels and made my own novel library, which now has so many books and so many shelves.
