Sometimes I wonder if it is necessary for others to know what and how we helped others. Because sometimes I can feel that I have to justify all my actions even if it's just a little act of kindness. Honestly, I always feel shy to say the kindness I have done for others and the reason for this is something I myself cannot understand why. I'm really very sorry if I don't know why I'm shy, maybe because it's just very small...
I think if we will just open our mind's eye there are a lot of good things we can do for others. We just have to be sensitive a little to know what goodness we can do, and as I have read in one book, sensitivity is... "the art of the small".
I wonder if others do feel the same way too. -Lynne-

Hi Valeria,
I respect your opinion Valeria. Maybe, in your case that's just how you feel but, for me, I think, it's not necessary for others to know what good deeds I have done for others because I think those are just minute compared to what others have done. I am feeling shy really. What I know is I helped and am helping with all my heart.
Thanks for your interesting comment Valeria.
Good day!

Wonderful message, Lynne!
Maybe we feel like telling others about the good deeds we do because it makes us feel really good, which doesn't happen when our negative traits prevail. I think that's why self improvement is so important.
Your post reminds me of the movie Evan Almighty. The "God" explains that to change the world all that is necessary is "An act of random kindness". One at a time. The movie is really fun - worth seeing.
Hi Lynne! Wonderful blog! I believe small things could be very important too. Even a somebody's smile can live in our memory forever.

Dear Lynne thank you for this wonderful blog! I agree with Achan that sometimes small thing are more important. Here are two quotations fro you:
"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things" ~ Robert Brault.
"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see" ~ Mark Twain.

It's true because we have different beliefs and ideals... because of these diversed opinion it is impossible to please everybody but I am not here to please people I'm just sharing a little of what I understand and could be helpful... our way of thinking could be similar sometimes but not always... all what I know is we are all uniquely created from each other, and we still in some ways belong to each one... we are all human beings.
Is it true Jiananlee you will support me ... ^_^ may I know for what? :))) that I have no idea...
Thank you Jiananlee for stopping by and making me smile here in front of my PC.
